"Hi." I squeak out in a voice two octaves higher than my normal pitch and I'm pretty sure only dogs could hear it. It must be slightly audible though because it pops Nat and Vi out of there daze.

"Hey." Vi says in a normal voice. "I'm Vi and this is Nat and Rose."

She gestures to both of us as she says our name. Nat gives a shy wave I and I just stand there trying to chill out. I'll be honest it's not every day hot men come up to me and say hi. But it is definitely something I would enjoy happening more often.

"Cool." He grins. "I'm Jay and this is Sam."

He points to the guy who walked up with him. Sam is equally good looking but has sandy hair and warm brown eyes. Not much like Jay who is a bit mysterious looking. Out of the corner of my eye I see Nat blush as Sam says hi to her. Interesting...

"I haven't seen you guys around before." Sam states glancing at me and Vi but looking mostly at Natalie. I can see him not-so-discreetly checking her out and I can't help but smirk. I have to say that she does look really pretty in her bright orange bikini which compliment her eyes and brings out her tan. And unlike me she has nice beachy waves from her hair being wet and then drying in the sun. My unruly hair on the other hand is up in a nasty bun. Remembering this fact I reach up and yank the ponytail out letting my hair fall down the middle of my back almost to my butt.

"Yeah we live just a little over an hour away." Vi says. "We're just up here for a couple of days before school starts down at our cabin."

She gestures down the beach in the direction of our cabin.

"What about you guys?" She asks tossing her purple hair over her shoulder and placing a hand on her hip.

"We're just up here for a couple days." Jay says. "Then we'll be heading back to our new house."

"You're new house?" I ask curiously.

"We just moved to a new house a couple weeks ago. Jay and I are just up here until tomorrow then were heading back to finish up our unpacking and help our family organize everything." Sam explains.

"Wait a sec," Vi says holding up her hand. "You guys are related? Cause u look nothing alike."

They laugh at her bluntness and then say, "Stepbrothers."

"My mom married his dad." Sam explains grinning. "And then we all moved into a bigger house."

"Ooooh." Nat says in an understanding voice.

"Hey girls!!" A voice yells behind us. We all turn to look and I see Cole, Cam, and Dylan jogging up behind us with a grins on their faces. Dylan. Crap. I mentally slap myself for acting like a moron. Here I am drooling over Jay while ice been hanging out with Dylan. But you aren't dating, my brain tells me. Shut up, I tell it. And for a second I feel guilty, that is until I see a gorgeous redhead walking up right behind them. The guys stop and the redhead immediately comes up and stands next to Dylan.

"Hey." Vi says. "Who're you?"

I roll my eyes at her forwardness but grin inwardly. Dylan gives her a sour look.

"This is Amy." He says. "Amy, meet Nat, Vi, and Rose. And you guys are?"

He looks curiously at Jay and Sam. I quickly make introductions.

All of a sudden the radio volume goes up and Cole whoops and yells, "I love this song!"

He grabs my arm and drags me to a group of people dancing.

"Let's get our freak on." He says grinning. I burst out laughing and nod my head in agreement.

"All right."

I look over my shoulder and gesture to Vi to come join us. She grins and grabs Jay's hand dragging him towards me and Cole. The others soon follow and pretty soon everyone's singing at the top of there lungs and pumping there fists in the air. A couple songs later I'm dying of thirst so I yell to Cole that I'm gonna go get a drink from a cooler. He flashes me a thumbs up and starts dancing with the cutest girl in sight. I roll my eyes and chuckle. Then I go find a cooler and grab a Dr. Pepper. Someone behind me clears there throat and I turn to see Jay behind me.

"Hey." I say grinning. "What's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to take a walk with me." Jay says.

I look toward the group of people dancing and catch Vi's eye motioning between me and Jay and then gesturing down the beach. She nods in understanding. I turn to Jay and grin.

"Sure, let's go."
