Chapter Nineteen (Jungkook's Story)

Jeon Jungkook's POV
"Oppa, do you know how much I've missed you? I thought we will never see each other again! And guess what, I'm moving to your school! Isn't that exciting?" Bora said, and she squealed. I wasn't quite sure how I felt because I felt that our love died down. However, I kind of felt bad for her because she got bullied because of me.

We were actually childhood friends. Her mom and my mom were best friends, and we ate dinner together every single day. We went to the same school, and surprisingly we were in all the same classes together. I was known in school for my looks and my talent. I was one of the most popular guys in school, so there were a lot of fangirls waiting for me at school, every time of the day. It got pretty annoying, and girls dress up because of me, but at that time, I only loved Bora.
We started dating soon after I confessed to her. Bora became really clingy and wanted me with her all the time. She wanted me to buy her expensive things such as bags, jewellery, makeup, and I did because I loved her at the time. She was afraid that she would lose me because there are lots of girls prettier and nicer than her. But to me, she was perfect.
One day, at school, we decided to reveal our relationship. We held hands and acted lovey-dovey, because Bora wanted to. At that time, I thought the world of her, so I gave in, even though I didn't want to do it. Girls gave Bora glares, but they quickly acted nice in front of me. This is why I don't like the fangirls. They are two-faced and fake.
While I was having my free-time and playing basketball with my friends, Bora got slapped and poured flour and eggs on. She screamed so loud that the entire school can hear her, so I quickly stopped playing and caught the bullies red-handed. They tried to explain that they were just defending themselves, but I wasn't having it. I helped Bora get up and took her to the office where she got a new pair of gym shorts and clothes.
She got bullied every single day at school, to the point that she almost had depression. I thought that it was all my fault. I began to blame myself. I thought that it was really unfair that Bora was treated this way, and I'm still living my peaceful life, full of fangirls.
One day, Choi Bora looked really depressed, so I thought that she was bullied again, by my fangirls. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me her family had made a big decision. They were planning for Bora to study in Paris, France, because they had just bought a new mansion/house there. They planned for her to come back during her last year of middle school.
We made a promise, that she'll come back as early as she can, and that our relationship shall last forever. The next day, she left to go to Paris, and she never contacted with me again. This is when I started developing dreams. Dreams to become an idol, a performer, dedicated to his job. I decided to audition for Superstar K, but I got eliminated. I got casted by BigHit while I was walking home, and that was when I started my training.
I made six best friends from BigHit. They were Jimin, Taehyung, Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jin. They were like big brothers to me, however, I was the closest to Jimin and Taehyung. We trained together every single day and talked like we were brothers. In our perspectives, we are already brothers. I have six older brothers that love and take care of me as if I was their own brother. That's when we created a name for our squad, and that was "Bangtan Boys", or sometimes known as "Bangtan Sonyeondan" or "BTS". We have always cherished our friendship.
We had to live together in two dorms. Yoongi, Hoseok and Namjoon lived together, while Jimin, Taehyung, Jin and I lived together. We had side-by-side dorms, so we were still close to each other. We posted Youtube videos of ourselves using the account "BANGTANTV". At first, nobody watched our videos, but soon after our fangirls found out and watched our videos daily. We got more than one million subscribers.
We performed at our sunbaenims' concerts, because there was a special stage for trainees. We worked together to compose our own songs, such as "Boyz With Fun", "Spine Breaker" and "Young Forever".
BigHit moved me to a completely new school soon after I started training. It was called the Seoul National Academy of Performing Arts, and it was a school for talented singer, dancers, or performers. My "BTS" brothers were also moved to this school with me, and we were the most popular boys in school. There were still a lot of fangirls, but this time, we didn't even try to look at them.
I've always thought that Bora wouldn't ever come back, but guessed what, I was wrong. But I love another person now, Bora. I just don't know what to do.

I sighed, and faked smiled at her.
"Yeah, I thought you wouldn't come back, Bora." I said.

"Oppa, let's stay together, forever! Promise me, Kookie oppa." Bora suddenly said. I gulped. She suffered so much because of me.

"I-I promise."
