I was falling. My hands gripped the surface of the rooftop. My hands were sweaty and I didn't know what to do. I wanted to scream for help, but no voice would come out my throat. My whole body trembled. Tears were falling out of my eyes. I closed my eyes and just hoped that my hands will not lose grip of the rooftop.
Lee Jihoon's POV
Chaeri, where is she? Oh my gosh, don't tell me that it was her who wanted to commit suicide...
"Chaeri! Where are you?" I shouted, my hands trembling, hoping that she hadn't committed suicide. I immediately rushed over to the edge of the rooftop.
"Chaeri!" I screamed. Tears poured out of my eyes. I quickly grasped her hands, and with all my might, dragged her out from danger. I could see that her whole body was trembling.
Her eyes opened.
"Jihoon...oppa?" She asked.
"Neh. Chaeri! Why did you try to kill yourself?" I asked, hugging her tight.
Just then, Jungkook and Areum rushed over.
"It was my fault. I knocked her over. Everything is my fault. I guess I should be the one dying. I'm so, so sorry Chaeri. I guess I should be gone from this world to avoid causing any more trouble." Areum said coldly. She went on her knees and bowed deeply to Chaeri, who was half conscious.
"Oppa, it's okay, I'm fine. Thank you for saving me, Jihoon oppa." Chaeri looked me in the eyes, her eyes sparkling with tears, hugging me tight.
"Oppa, saranghae."
