It had always been my dream of becoming an idol. I started learning hip hop at three years old. Now that I wanted to fulfil my dream as an idol, I started singing and rapping everyday. I'm planning to audition for BigHit Entertainment in the afternoon, so I've been getting ready since 5 o'clock in the morning.
I wore a white top with the words "SLAY" on the front, black skinny ankle jeans, red Converse, and a DOPE snapback. I put on thin makeup that barely shows and I'm good to go. I like to go with the simple style when I'm not in my uniform. Today I will be auditioning for three areas: singing, dancing, and rapping.
~Time Skip~
"Next up, Park Chaeri." The announcer called, and I immediately dragged myself up to the auditioning stage.
"What areas would you like to audition for?" A judge asked me, smiling. He looked nice and reassured me that I'll be fine.
"All three. Dancing, singing and rapping." I replied nervously, my fingers trembling. I mentally slapped myself for being weird in front of the judges. I hope they don't see me as an alien.
I started with dancing first. I danced to Zion T's "Click Me". I focused on dancing and getting the moves correct. By the time I was finished, I was sweating even though there's air conditioning.
"I will be singing to IU's "Good Day". I said, then bowed to the judges. I could hear some of the other girls' whisperings about me. I rolled my eyes at them and sang with all my might. This was the first song that I learned to sing. I had practiced it for years, however, I still couldn't quite perfect it.
Lastly, I rapped to GD&TOP's "Zutter". I tapped the beat and made sure not to get any part wrong, or I'll be screwed. I think I did pretty well today, and I might actually pass.
After sitting and waiting for what seems like a hundred hours, Bang Si Hyuk announced the new trainee of BigHit. "The new trainee has potential in all areas of becoming an idol. The new trainee that we all agree to is number 39: Park Chaeri!"
I smacked my head as I repeated the words in my mind. Me? I could feel my heart jumping up and down excitedly. I ran up to Bang PD-nim and thanked him.
I signed a contract with BigHit, barely reading through the whole thing. I'm too lazy and tired.
"We will like you to start training with us today, at 8 o'clock. Can you be there?" He asked, shaking my hand.
"Yes, I suppose so." I bowed to him, smiling at him, even though I will need to ask my uncle and aunt.
"Then I'll be waiting for you there." He smiled, and handed me a card. The back of the card had BigHit's address and phone number. I skipped happily from the BigHit Audition Building to my house and told my aunt and uncle.
"Aunt, uncle, guess what? I'm accepted at BigHit!" I said, jumping up and down. My aunt and uncle's eyes widened and clapped for me.
"Listen, Chaeri. We have never told you that we had a son, right?" My uncle's voice rang through my mind. What? They had a son and never told me? Why?
"Yeah." Was all I replied to them. I was too shocked to say anything. Why wasn't he living with them?
"He moved out when we told him you were coming to live with us." My aunt explained. She then clapped excitedly. "He is also a trainee at BigHit. He got accepted last year. You'll get to know each other!"
Wait. So my technical long-lost brother was him? I gulped, not taking it in.
"W-what's his name?" I asked, waiting for their answer. I hope it is not someone that I know at school.

"His name is... Park Jimin."
Wait, what? Park Jimin of BTS? Hell no. He bullies me everyday but is slightly nicer than Jeon Jungkook. Is he really my long-lost brother? Will he train with me?
"PARK JIMIN?!" I shouted. I gulped. BigHit's going to be a nightmare for me if he bullies me there.
"What? Do you know each other?" My aunt asked me, confused. I could tell that she was worried.
"Y-yeah. We're in the same class at school." I replied, not looking her in the eye. I glanced swiftly at the wooden clock that hung from the wall. It was already 7:30! I had to get going or I'll be late for my first day of training at BigHit.
I quickly changed into another pair of black skinny ankle jeans and a black skull T-shirt with a "SLAY" snapback. I grabbed my phone and ran out the door.
"Bye aunt, bye uncle, I'll go to BigHit now." I shouted through the door. I ran to the taxi that took me directly to the BigHit building. I quickly payed the driver and went straight in to the building to find Bang PD-nim. It was already 8:10.
"Hello, Bang PD-nim. I'm here for my first day of training." I said, then bowed deeply to him.
"Hi, Park Chaeri. You will use the dance room on the seventh floor with seven other boys. Where do you live?" He asked me.
"I live in Nowon District, PD-nim." I said. It took me forty minutes to take the taxi here. I guess I will have to move if I wanted to train here.
"Then you'll have to live in a dorm. We still have dorms available, but they are beside the male dorms. Is that fine with you?" PD-nim asked.
"Yes. May I ask, who lives beside me in the male dorms?" I asked, curious. I hope it is not Park Jimin. I definitely do not want to be bullied again.
"The seven boys you'll be training with. Don't worry, they can't get into the female dormitories." He reassured me. But who are the seven boys?
Bang PD-nim continued. "You should get going now. I've told the boys that you'll be training with them. Here is your schedule card." He handed me a yellow card, full of words.
Wow. I thought. I have a lot of learning to do.
I waited for the elevator to go up to the seventh floor. I went inside the elevator and pressed the seventh floor. I feel butterflies in my stomach and my hands are sweating. I'm probably just nervous for my first day. However, I'm really excited to start my life as a trainee.
I walked to the dance studio. There's no one inside, thank god I'm the first one. I guess they are all late then. Boys are still boys.
I plugged my earphones in and listened to Big Bang's "Fantastic Baby". I played with my phone for a bit, waiting for the boys and my mentor. Wait, excuse me. Our mentor. I sighed. Why can't I work with the girls? I put on some eyeliner and mascara to pass time. What's taking them so long? Even the mentor?
Just then, I saw eight figures walk in. The first person must be the mentor. She scolded the boys for talking to loud. The rest of the group walked in.
Wait, are they...

BTS?
"You! Why are you here?" Jungkook shouted at me. He looked angry and annoyed. Actually, screw that. The whole group looked angry and annoyed. And shocked. I don't think they believe that a nerd can transform herself into a swag girl.
"Is it really her?"
"Park Chaeri?"
"How can she be a nerd one second and a popular girl the next?"
"Screw her."
"Where's the nerd side?"
They were whispering but I can hear it loud and clear. I rolled my eyes, not caring about them. Who cares what they think?
"I'm here to train. Why are you here?" I shouted back. I couldn't believe I am going to be training with those jerks. Bangtansoyeondumb.
"We're here to train, duh." Jungkook replied. He scowled at me. I smirked at him. Now I see why they annoy people. It is fun.
I can't believe I'll be stuck with them. I took a look at my schedule card. There was a little row at the bottom of it.

Debut Year: 2018
I'll be stuck with them, training for two years.
What's worse is that they're right beside my dorm.
