CHAPTER 6: Meeting the Light

Ellas POV

"I...I don't...I'm not sure about this" I said after Alex had explained to me that the only way we could be together was by mating. I was terrified of the idea because we could hurt each other if we weren't careful. "Shh babe don't tell me anything just yet." He said to me. "Fine lets just walk to my hut and we can talk there. You go first because I don't think we should be seen together...at least not yet." I said to Alex. "Okay, but please hurry" I nod and he kissed my forehead before running towards the pack.

I start to walk over there as well but I can't help but think this through. I can't just automatically say yes I have to think of the consequences.

Don't be stupid Ella. No one can say or do anything once you and Alex mate. My wolf told me.

I cursed under my breath because I know that my wolf is right. But what about my children? What will they be, vampire or wolf? The first time a she-wolf mates, she gets pregnant and I'm not sure I can. I will have to talk about this with Alex. What will my parents say?

ELLA!!! My wolf screamed at me. Okay Okay I tell her. They can't do anything I get it.I shake off all the feelings and run towards my house where Alex is waiting for me.

Alex's POV

"I don't care if our kids come out all wolves or all vampires. Ella I would love them no matter what." I say to her. She nods, but I can see and fell that she is not 100 percent sure. "Don't worry about anything." I try to reassure her then kiss her on the head. I stay like that for a while and inhale her scent. She smells of jasmine and strawberries to me.

"I want you to meet my family and I want to meet your's" She says after a while. "I don't think my father will like to have you in the castle or even on the territory, but I don't care, he has to know my intentions. He has to understand that these things happen and one can't go around and chose who their mate is." I told her. "I think we should go and meet your parents first and then we can see my father.' I said. "My mother will understand, not at first but she will end up loving you I just know it." She said and I nod. "Okay lets get this over with" She says and we head out to see her parents.

As Ella and Alex made their way to Ella's family, they were still talking about the pros and cons to their relationship. They were really into their conversation that they didn't realize that they had already arrived. Ella's mother was inside her house cooking what little food she had for the bigger werewolves of the pack.

Ella's POV

"Ha Ha Ha I think you do, but I als...." I stopped talking to Alex in mid sentence because we were outside my mothers house and I could hear and smell the male wolves around me and Alex. "Luc, Drake, Ariel, everyone don't you dare hurt Alex and stop circling us. Come out NOW!" I yelled at them using my Alpha voice. One by one they came out. "Alpha what is this leech doing here?" Luc asked and I let out a loud growl which made him coward down a bit. "He is not a leech do you hear me? Do all of you hear me!" I said again in my Alpha voice.

They slowly nodded there heads. "His name is Alex and he is my mate! Everyone knows that no one can pick their mates, they are our other half and Alex is my half." I said loudly. Drake growled at Alex and I gave him a death stare. Me and Drake use to date, but that ended when I was made Alpha because I had to find my mate. "Where is my mother?" I asked them.

"Alpha she is inside cooking." Baby Taven said to me while trying to climb up my leg. I picked him up and put him on my hip. Taven is Luc's son and also my favorite little hunter. "Ella is that you?" My mother said. I couldn't see her because she was behind all the male wolves. When she came into view she dropped the glass bowl she had in her hand which shattered into pieces and growled.

She was growling at Alex. I couldn't scream at her because she is my mother, but I did tell her to stop the glaring and to go inside the house so we could talk. "Taven go with your mama okay?" I told Taven and put him down. He laughed and ran away to find his mama. "Well here we go" I heard Alex say to me when we entered the house.

Meanwhile Alexandra had returned back to her house and was in her room think about all the ways she could make Shadow feel sorry for the way he treated her when there was a knock on the door.

Alexandra's POV

"Who is it?" I asked. "Its me" Shadow growled his answer. I didn't open the door but put my back on the door and crossed my arms around my chest. "What do you want?" I asked him. I can't believe I didn't hear or smell him. Come to think of it, the first time I saw him I didn't even realize he was there until he spoke. "I just want to talk to you" He said. "I can hear you perfectly well from here" I said to him.

Yes I know I am acting like a child, but that's what he deserves humph! "Lexi it's harder to...apologize to you from behind the door" He said. I straightened up and slowly turned towards the door.

I slowly opened it and I saw him leaning on the door from. I couldn't help but stare. He didn't have a shirt on and he had an eight pack. I shook my head. "Okay you can apologize mow." I told him coldly. "Why are you so annoying!" He screamed at me. "If you don't like me then why do you even bother to talk to me?!" I screamed back.

Before I could do anything else he came up to me and kissed me on the lips. I tried to pull back, but he wouldn't let me go. I got even more angry and I bit down on his lip as hard as I could."What in the hell was that for!?" he asked after he pulled away from me. "What do you mean what was that for? You kissed me you mutt!" I looked at him with my evil glare and he looked at me and started to laugh. Can you believe this monster? He started to laugh! "I don't see what's so funny? You should tell me the joke so I can laugh with you too" I said, the anger trying to escape. If I let the anger escape I would kill him. No joke.

"Don't you get it? It's you, you make me fight with my wolf and it's not healthy. Oh Lexi. my Lexi" He said stepping closer to me again. "What do you mine 'my Lexi'?" I said putting my middle and index finger up and making quotes when I said my Lexi. "I mean that you are mine!" He said with lust and a growl. I stared at him with a blank expression on my face then stepped closer to him. My breast were grazing his bare chest and I lunged at him and kissed him. I pressed my body closer to him that not even a piece of paper could pass between us.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. He then picked me up and walked. We pulled apart to breathe and I noticed that we were in my bedroom. He started kissing me again and I felt uncomfortable. "Wait Shadow, I don't..I can't, not yet." I told Shadow. He groaned. He pulled back and ran downstairs. "Shadow wait. Did I say something wrong?" I asked him. He was pacing back and forth in the livingroom. "No everything is fine, I have to go!" He yelled at me and ran out the door. I just watched the door with a confused and shocked look on my face.

Back in Ella's moms house...

Ella's POV

"How dare you bring him here El!?" my mother shouted. I snarled at her and she didn't say anything else. "He is my mate mother and you of all people should know that no one can chose their mates. Mother he is the one. I love him please" I pleaded with her. She sighed. "El, if these is what you want then I give you my blessing. If your father were here he wouldn't like this, but he would also give you his blessing." She finally said. "Thank you mama" I said and gave her a bear hug. "But, Alex, living with wolves is not going to be easy and trust me, Drake will make things even harder." She warned Alex. "Don't worry, I can do this. Anything to be with Ella." Alex replied and I smiled. He answered correctly and I could see my mother also smiling from the corner of my eye.

Me and Alex were walking back to his place after my mother had made us stay to eat. "Well that wasn't so...hard" Alex said after a while. We were holding hands and he twirled me. When I stopped twirling I ended facing him and I smiled. "Yeah, and I am glad my pack was fine with it after they found out about you being my mate." He gave me a peck on the lips. "Well Lexi there is one more thing we have to do, you know, to be mates" He said. I got a worried look on my face but I know that he was right. We had to mate and soon if this was ever going to work.
