CHAPTER 8: Confessions

Shadow's POV

I need to tell someone or it will kill me slowly. I need to see if what I am feeling she feels it too. How can I figure it out? Alex!... No he is her brother and I can't trust him. He might tell her by letting his thoughts go in to her mind. Uhmm...Oh my, how come I didn't see it before!? Ella! She is the answer! All I have to do is tell her as an Alpha and she has to stay quite. If she tells someone with out my permission then she would lose her position as Alpha.

Shadow goes to see Ella

Ella's POV

"Hey Ella, I need to talk to you about some Alpha business." Shadow told me after I let him inside my home. "Sure what is it about?" I ask a little bit curious. "Um can we talk somewhere more private?" He asked while eyeing my mother in the kitchen. "Yeah sure lets go." I replied really curious at this point.

I wonder what he wants to talk about. So he led the way into a far part of the forest. He stopped and so did I. Of course we were in wolf form because it would have taken a whole day by human form. He shifted back and started to pace. I also followed his lead and I just stare at him because I didn't want to disrupt his thoughts. He sighs and looks at me.

"Ella, what I am going to tell you is strictly Alpha information and you know the consequence if you tell anyone at all" I nod. Now I really need to know what he is talking about!!!

"I have noticed that you have found your mate. I know that it's Alex, am I correct?" I nod again with a puzzled look on my face. I still didn't say anything. "Well I have found mine and I want to know if she feels the same," Oh I see know. I can feel a smile creeping onto my face. "Ella, its Alexandra. I wasn't sure about it the first time because as you know, female Were's feel it stronger then man, but the second and third time I saw her I knew that she was mine. What I want to ask is...do you know...does she...feel the same way about me?" He finished and I had the biggest smile on my face that literally reached from ear to ear.

"What!? Why are you smiling like a mad person?" He asked after seeing my face. "Ha ha ha. will what do you think?" I said a bit too sarcastically. I could feel his temper rising so I said quickly. "Of course she feels the same way about you. Have you not noticed?" I asked.

"Yeah I did actually...OF COURSE I DIDN'T BECAUSE IF I HAD THEN I WOULD NOT BE ASKING YOU!" I looked at him fuming. I could feel it in my chest and I couldn't hold it in much longer. I started laughing like he said, a mad person. He just looked at me and said with a growl, "THAT'S NOT FUNNY!" I wiped away the tears that were running down my face. "I'm sorry Shadow, but it's hilarious! If you look at her you could tell that she is totally smitten by you. Her eyes light up and she just stares at you until you start staring at her and she starts to get a little red, which is very hard for a vampire to do" I told him.

He had sat down on a rock and he looked a little sad and sick. I knelt down and rubbed his back. "Don't worry about it, just tell her how you feel and she will open up to you. She doesn't feel confident to tell you, she is waiting for you. I can feel it when I ask her about you and yes I did ask because it was pretty obvious." I added because he turned to look at me. "Okay I get it. I know she is shy, but are you sure that she will also feel the same way towards me?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes and I couldn't help but yell.

"I SAID YES!" I said in my Alpha voice. He slowly nodded his head. Finally this mess will be all cleared up.

I stood up. "Well good luck." I said and started to walk away. He grabbed me by the wrist. He had on his poker face again. "Ella remember the Alpha pack." He warned me. "I won't" I reassuered him.

Then I walked away ready to met with my own mate.

Shadow's POV

Well that was easier then I thought and I got the results that I wanted. Now all I have to do if confront her and tell her what I feel.
