So I woke up the next morning to Alex kissing me. I opened my eyes a bit and pulled her closer to me while kissing her back.
"Hell of a way to wake up." I say.
Alex laughs before getting out of bed and going to the bathroom. My phone buzzed and it was a message from French, she planned a team bonding exercise for us today and wanted us down to the confrence room in an hour. Alex had hopped in the shower so I went into the bathroom and started my normal routine. Alex stepped out before I was done and wrapped a towel around her.
"My eyes are up here." Alex says.
"Tease." I say pulling her into me.
"Your the one who came in here while I was taking a shower." Alex says.
I just roll my eyes and pull her in for a kiss. Alex pulls away and goes into the room and gets dressed. I finish up what I was doing in the bathroom and went into the room.
"French wants us down soon." I say.
Alex nods and throws on her sneakers. I put on my sweatpants and a random tee shirt before throwing my sneakers on. We both head downstairs and grab our plates before sitting down with everyone else. By the time French came down everyone was here. We were going on a scavenger hunt and she was picking the teams. When we were done we all needed to meet back here. On top of that there were a few new players coming in at dinner so we had that to look forward to. We were in groups of four I was in a group with Julie, Tobin, and Hope. We were given a list of 10 things we needed to find or do:
1) Build a Snowman (Video or Photo)
2) Touch the crossbar 10 times (Video)
3) Film a trick shot video (Video)
4) Find a soccer player's best friend (Brought Back)
5) Dress up like one person on the team (Photo)
6) Find a beach ball (Brought Back)
7) Do 25 pull ups (Video)
8) Do 25 push ups (Video)
9) Bring back a food you would bring to a party (Brought Back)
10) Find all group members a bathing suit (Brought Back)
All items on the list must be brought back when the time is up!
We all went off with our teams and found the things. We all went outside and started building a snowman. I would be lying if I said it wasn't awkward.
"Okay listen, we all know what's going on but for now can we forget about it so we can get this done?" Hope asks.
I look at Julie who nods her head.
"Okay." I say.
"Thank god." Tobin says letting out a breath dramatically.
We all laugh and get to work. We went to the field so we could do the 2nd and 3rd thing on the list.
"Dude it says touch the crossbar 10 times." I say.
"And?" Hope asks.
"Just start recording." I say.
Julie shrugs and starts recording. I walk over to the goal and jump up and touch the crossbar 10 times.
"It doesn't say from where or with a ball. It just says touch the crossbar 10 times." I say.
"Shut up." Tobin says.
"Your just mad because you didn't think of it first." I say.
Hope and Julie record Tobin and I doing trick shots so we now had to get a soccer player's best friend.
"What's your best friend?" I ask.
"Sleep." Hope says.
"Food." Tobin says.
"Prewrap." Julie says.
"Well we can't really bring back sleep, we already need to get food, so prewrap it is." I say.
"I have a few rolls in my room." Julie says.
"Of course you do." I say.
We both laugh and the four of us head into the building. We go to Julie's room and she opens one of her draws which has at least 5 rolls of prewrap.
"Really?" Hope asks.
"Hey don't judge me." Julie says.
"So who are one of us going to dress up like for 5?" Tobin asks.
"I think Y/N should dress up like you Tobin. You guys are around the same height and basically wear the same thing anyways." Hope says.
"Alright, while we're doing that you and Julie should start looking for a beach ball." I say.
We all agree and I go to Tobin's room with her.
"So what am I wearing?" I ask.
Tobin throws me some tan colored skinny jeans, a plain white tee shirt, and her signature red snapback. I started taking off my clothes and putting those ones on. I don't know how but my shirt got tangled up into my hair when I took it off.
"Can you help me?" I ask.
Tobin clears her throat and unwraps my hair from around my shirt. I put the shirt Tobin gave me on and continue to get dressed. I caught Tobin looking at me a few times and when we made eye contact sh quickly looked away. Did Tobin like me? I mean that would explain everything that's been going on lately. And she wouldn't have told me because of Alex. I need to figure this out. I finally got to clothes on and we took a picture. I changed back into my clothes and we went to go find Hope and Julie. There are a few stores around here which is were Hope and Julie got the beach ball from. We all made our way to the gym so we could do the 25 sit ups and push ups. I did the pull ups while Hope did the push ups. We went back to those stores and picked up some chips because people always have chips at a party. None of us brought swimsuits and none of the stores had any because it was almost winter so we had to improvise. We all got our sports bras and a pair of nike pros. We made sure we had everything we needed before going back down to the conference room. In good timing too because the timer went off as soon as we walked in. Everyone else made there way to the room and we sat in our groups. French came over to each group one by one and when she was done stood in the front of the room.
"So this went very well and I hope that you all had a lot of fun. But sadly no body won." French says.
We all groan and she laughs.
"I knew for a fact that none of you would have swimming suits which is why I added it. But you all improvised and did what you could with what you had. All the things on this list was asked of you for a reason. Go to the pool and see what I'm talking about." French says.
We all get up and bring out things to the pool. When we walk in we see its set up with snacks, there's music playing, and French is standing there with a group of people.
"I told you guys there would be some new faces soon. Have a good time because tomorrow we get back to work." French says.
She leaves and we all look and see who the new players are. Why is half of our high school team here? Along with some new faces I want to get to know. I walk over to Alex who was talking to Ali and Ash and pick her up.
"Y/N put me down!" Alex yells.
"Okay." I say and drop her into the pool.
"Your so dead." Alex says.
I laugh and then someone pushes me into the pool. I come up and see it was Hope, Tobin pushes Hope into the pool and everyone else either pushes someone in or jumps in. The rest of the night was fun we all got to know each other and had a good time.
