Its been three weeks since I left. People have tried to contact me but I don't answer, it got to the point where I turned my phone off. I walk out onto the beach and my feet touch the warm sand. I took my cast off which was probably stupid as fuck but when I walk it doesn't hurt. My recovery was suppose to be eight weeks and its already been seven. A few weeks ago I started walking and jogging without pain and this is the first time I'm going to try to run. I have Blu off his leash and he's walking next to me. I start out with a light jog and I feel fine so I get faster. I can't run as fast as I could before but its better than nothing. As I get closer to the ocean I get faster, I feel the pain more but I don't care I keep going. I look down and see Blu running besides me like he always does. I smile and once I get to the water I stop and just look at how the sun is reflecting off of it. I walk in until the water is up to my abdomen. I have on a sports bra and a muscle tee with Nike pros. I look down at Blu and smile, he's gotten bigger and he loves the water. I walk back and sit on the sand watching him play with the waves. Blu walks out and comes and sits on my lap. This has become a routine for us, we sit and watch the sun rise. After a while we walk back to the house and I put Blu's food out while I make myself breakfast. Once we we're both done eating I throw on some sneakers and Blu and I go for a walk. We go up the path and sit at the top of the cliff. The ocean went on forever, or at least it looked like it did. I hear footsteps and they bring a smile to my face.

"And in that moment I felt infinite." She says.

Kendall sits next to me and let's her feet hang off the edge.

"You finished the book." I say.

"Yeah, and now it's time for you to go home." Kendall says.

I get up and walk back to the house with her. I go into the room and pack the few clothes I brought with me. I get Blu's things and place them by the door.

"Come here." Kendall says.

I walk over to Kendall and she grabs my face and pulls me in for a kiss. I start to kiss back and it went on for a while until we both pull away.

"I know you have a girlfriend who you love very much. But if you ever need anything, call me." Kendall says.

"I will, thanks for letting us stay here."

I get our things and put them in the car. Blu hops in the passenger seat and I look at the place I went to escape the world. Its absolutely beautiful and I know I'll be back, maybe with Alex. I start the car and drive away, back to civilization. Back to the love of my life...
