We Can't Go Back...

As I get back to familiar streets I feel guilty for the way I just left Alex. I pull into the driveway and I pray she's still here. I walk into the house and to say the least it look like shit. I hear barking and Rocky comes running down the stairs. Blu runs towards her and the both of them whimper. Rocky comes over to me and nudges me upstairs. I walk into the bedroom and see Alex laying there asleep. I take my sneakers off along with the muscle tee I had on leaving me in a sport bra and Nike pros. I walk over to Alex and pull her into me, waking her up.

"Y/N." Alex sobs.

I don't say anything I just get in the bed and hold her. Alex wraps her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist.

"I'm sorry." Alex cries harder.

"No I'm sorry, I should have never left like that." I say.

Alex looks into my eyes and I can see she hasn't gotten much sleep and she's been crying a lot. I pull her in for a kiss, and in that moment I realize how much we both need each other.

" I love you." I whisper in her ear.

"I love you too." Alex says.

I lay down and Alex stays in my arms. I hear her light snores and they bring a smile to my face. I try to get up but Alex holds me tighter.

"Please don't go." She mumbles.

"I'm not going anywhere." I reply.

I kiss Alex's forehead and even though I not tired I fall into a deep sleep.

-Next Day-

I wake up before Alex, like usual and just lay there. Alex is laying on top of me and has her head on my chest. I start running my fingers through her hair. She shifts before opening her eyes and looking up at me.

"Hey baby girl." I whisper.

Alex moves up and kisses me.

"Come on." I say getting out of bed.

I take Alex's hand in mine and lead her to the bathroom. I start running the water for a bath and light a few candles and put in a bath bomb. I walk over to Alex and take my sports bra off. She runs her fingers over my body, I close my eyes missing her touch. I take Alex's shirt off before continuing to take the rest of our clothes off. I turn the water off then step into the tub. I open my arms and Alex smiles before getting in with me. She sits on my lap and I kiss her neck. Alex moves so our chests are pressed against each others. When she moves Alex places her thigh between my legs causing me to hiss in pleasure.

"Good to know I still have that effect on you." Alex whispers.

"You always have that effect on me." I say pulling Alex closer.

Our lips touch and I feel like my heart is going to fall out of my chest. We're both fighting for dominance but I eventually win. I move Alex so she straddling my legs. I kiss her neck while my hands play with her center.

"Don't be a tease." Alex groans.

To say the least our morning was pretty eventful.

"When did you take your cast off?" Alex asks laying next to me on the couch.

"A few weeks ago." I say.

"How?" She asks.

"Trust, me it wasn't easy but all I'm going to say is power tools work wonders." I say.

Alex laughs and cuddles into me more, if that's even possible. But I'm in no way complaining. I look over at Blu and Rocky who are laying together, they've both gotten really big. But they still act like puppies and I love that about them.

"Come on, I want to go do something." I say.

Alex groans before getting up and walking to the bedroom with me. We both throw on athletic shorts and a random tee shirt. Once Alex leaves I pack a book bag with a few things. Alex gets Rocky's leash while I get Blu's. When I go to put it on him he starts whimpering.

"Hey, I'll take it off when we get there." I say.

While we were gone I trained Blu to stay with me at all times and to be a guard dog. As time went on he's started to hate his leash. We throw on our shoes and get in the car. Before we get all the way there I stop at the store and pick up some food for us and the dogs. I get back in the car and continue to drive. When we get there I stop the car and we all get out. I take Blu's leash off and he goes and Rocky follows him.

"Babe." Alex says.

"Don't worry, they're fine." I say.

Alex and I get the bags out the trunk and walk into the clearing. As we keep walking the forest gets a little thicker but then starts to even out.

"When did you find this?" Alex asks.

In the middle of this forest is a soccer field and it looks amazing. Blu and Rocky are standing there waiting for us and Blu starts whining and nudging Rocky. I laugh before bending down and taking off Rocky's leash. The moment I do they both take off. I pull a soccer ball out of the book bag I packed and hand it to Alex.

"Have you played since the last game?" Alex asks.

"Nope but what's a better time to try than now?" I ask.

I pull out a pair of both of our cleats. We gear up and walk to one side of the field.

"Ready?" Alex asks.

"Yeah." I say.

Alex backs up a few yards and gives me a simple pass. This went on for a while so I could get a feel with the ball being at my feet. As I felt comfortable we started doing more intense drills until I came to a shooting drill.

"We can stop if you need to." Alex says.

I shake my head and go out about 20 yards. I back up a few steps and strick the ball. When I make contact with the ball I feel a pain run through my leg. I look up and watch the ball spin into the back of the net. When I hear the sound of the ball hitting the back of the net I smile. Alex comes over to me and pulls.me in for a hug. Rocky and Blu run over to us and Blu jumps on me knocking me over, I laugh as he licks my face. Alex helps me up and we go back over to the bags. I got some things so we can make sandwiches and got Rocky and Blu a few treats. When we're done eating we pack our things up and get in the car.

"I'll be back." I say.

"Stronger than ever." Alex says.

I smile and lean over and kiss her lips. I start the car and we start driving back home.
