CHAPTER 22 part 3: REVEALING THE PAST

Tetsuya's P.O.V (For the 1st time!)

 

I’m worried about Tsunade-chan since the moment Riko asked her about her past. I know that she didn’t want to tell the whole team about it but it seems like she didn’t have a choice. She’ll tell it even if she know that it will hurt her.

She only started with telling the team how she met each one of the Generation of Miracles prodigies but when the captain told her to get to the point, I heard her make this sigh she makes whenever she decides something she didn’t want to do.

Well, as her twin I should tell her not to continue since I know that it will hurt her but as her twin too I should respect her decision. She can take care of herself anyway.

Then she started the real thing.

Tsunade’s P.O.V

 

I saw Nii-san looking at me with his eyes full of worry before I started the real thing. He just sat there beside Kagami-kun hoping that I’ll stop but sadly, I can’t stop. I want to but I can’t.

The only way for me to escape the past is to tell someone or a whole bunch of people who can accept it for me and can give me a little piece of advice. I can tell that I can accept my past too once I knew that they accept it too.

I opened my mouth to speak and started.

Tsunade: When I met Akashi-senpai, my heart started to beat faster than before. He is my first love, I never saw a guy like him. He’s the reason why I am in control now. I’m sure Nii-san already told you that I’m always out of control, he told that to you when we have a practice game with Kaijō (chapter 9). He also told you that I started to be in control when I met that ‘certain someone’. Well, that certain someone is Akashi-senpai.

Riko: Is that the only reasons why you don’t want to talk about middle school?

Tsunade: No. There’s more than that. Do you believe in the saying that says ‘first love never dies’? That happened to me. I didn’t got over him until I transferred here to Seirin. *sighs* But you can’t say that I already got over him. Back when you, coach, ordered me to buy more basketballs and I spent too much time that made the team worried. I have met him and I can tell that I wasn’t myself.

Riko: You never told us this, Tsunade-chan.

Tsunade: That’s because you never asked.

Upperclassmen & Riko: She’s just like Kuroko. *facepalm*

The upperclassmen and Riko did a facepalm together that made me smile. The three freshmen are already asleep. I can’t blame them for being asleep because the clock has just struck eleven. However, Nii-san and Kagami-kun are still awake –wide awake— and their eyes were on me. All of the upperclassmen except unconscious Koganei-san are still awake too –half-awake— that is. I wonder when my story telling business here will be over.
