CHAPTER 24: THE BEAST AND THE TIGER
Kagami's P.O.V
Today is a regular Saturday after our three week vacation. We arrived yesterday at six o'clock in the afternoon. I was planning to ask Tsunade-chan out when my phone beeped. I received a message from someone. At first I thought it was Tsunade-chan but it turns out it was Aomine. How did he have my number?
It said: Kagami, meet me at the park. I want us to talk something important.
What does he want to talk about? I want to know about whatever he wants to talk about so I guess I’m going to go even if I don’t want to meet him.
I dressed myself with my usual attire. Black shirt and jeans. I placed some money and my phone in my pocket just in case and headed to the park.
After a few minutes walking, I arrived. I saw him standing up near a park bench, his hands in his pockets.
I approached him.
Kagami: What do you want to talk about?
Aomine: No hi or hello? Just talk straight away?
Kagami: *pissed* Hi. What do you want to talk about?
Aomine: *sighs* What do you have?
Kagami: Huh?
Aomine: What do you have that I don’t?
Kagami: What do you mean? I don’t get it.
Aomine: You’re really stupid. How come Tsunade-chan picked you instead of me?
Kagami: Since when Tsunade-chan get into this.
Aomine: I can’t believe it. She’s the reason why I want us to talk.
Kagami: Tsunade-chan? What about her?
Aomine: *facepalm* (This guy is so stupid.) I like Tsunade-chan and I will do anything for her. I waited for her since second year middle school until now but she turned me down because of you.
Kagami: You liked Tsunade-chan? How come she didn’t tell us when she revealed her past?
Aomine: Revealed her past? She already told you about it?
Kagami: Not only me but also the whole team.
Aomine: I can’t believe it that she already told someone. Tell me, did she cry when she told you the story?
Kagami: No, she didn’t cry at all. She seems serious about it.
Aomine: Of course, she’s serious about it. Her past in middle school hurts her the most. How come you didn’t notice it? You’re the one who is closest to her now, you should know better.
Kagami: Alright, alright. Calm down, Aomine. Just remember that Kuroko was also there and that we haven’t told anyone yet about us.
Aomine: *sits down on the bench* Just promise me one thing, Kagami. Don’t break her heart.
Kagami: I’ll never do that.
