CHAPTER 15: CONCERNED

Today is a usual day for a student going to school. As usual, the alarm clock had woken me up and I almost broke it because of frustration. I walk to school while yawning but covering my mouth with my hand to avoid glares from people I don’t know.

I entered the school gates and went straight to class. Who thought having two part-time jobs will be so exhausting? I saw Nii-san having a nap, it reminds me the day I transferred here in Seirin when Nii-san was taking a nap and I punched him hard. I smiled. But I haven’t seen Kagami-kun yet. Maybe he’s just late, I don’t need to worry on him anyway.

I walk to my seat, dropped my bag beside my seat, and sat on my chair. I bowed my head on my desk and closed my eyes. I'm really exhausted, I just want to sleep on my bed with the covers on top of me.

Tetsuya: Tsunade-chan, better open your eyes. The class is already starting.

Huh? The class is already starting? I opened my eyes. The professor is already starting our lecture. I sit up. When did the school bell rang? I glance on my front left and noticed that Kagami-kun was here. How come I didn’t felt it?

Tsunade: *whispers* Nii-san, when did the bell rang?

Tetsuya: *whispers back* A couple of minutes ago. Why do you look so sleepy?

The professor glances on my way that made me stop before I reply to Nii-san. He probably thought that I was talking to myself since he can’t see Nii-san. I wrote my reply to Nii-san in a piece of paper.

It said: I slept late last night since I have two part-time jobs, remember?

I passed it to Nii-san who is sitting beside and he took it, read it, and gave it back to me. He wrote a reply that said: You better go back to your apartment and get some rest. I don’t want you going to school when you look sleepy. It just gives me a warning not to talk to you.

I sighed. Can you please stop being overprotective, Nii-san? We’re already in high school and I can control myself. I wrote as a reply and passed it again to him. He took it, read, and his left brow raised up. I can tell that he’s not convinced. He wrote something and passed it to me.

It said: I’m not being overprotective, Tsunade-chan. I just want you to get some rest. And I have decided that you should go back to your apartment. End of discussion.

I sighed once again. I don’t want to piss Nii-san so I guess I should follow what he decided. I stood up from my desk and came close to our professor.

Professor: Tsunade, please don’t interrupt me while I’m lecturing.

Tsunade: Seme’masen, sensei. Can I have a permission to go home? I have a terrible headache and I can’t concentrate properly in your lectures. I’m sure you wouldn’t be pleased if I slept in your class, right sensei?

Professor: I give you permission, Tsunade but before you go home, stay at the clinic first to try if your headache can lessen and then you can go home. Kagami, accompany Tsunade to the clinic.

Kagami: Hai, sensei.

Kagami-kun stood up as I went out of class. We walk together to the clinic but then I forgot to bring my things with me. I started to walk back.
