"Hey Chloe, what plans do I have for next week?" Ryan asked.

"A meeting with the Peterson's and uh, the opening of the restaurant down the street." I replied.

"Cancel 'em."

"Why?" I asked.

"I'm going to Paris." He said.

"For how many days?"

"Two weeks."

I felt a little bad that he'd be going for two weeks and I wouldn't be able to see him.

"Oh um, cool." I said, trying to hide my disappointment.

"Yeah, so book two tickets for Monday." He said.

"Oh, you and James?" I asked.

He laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked.

"You're such a dork." He said and kissed my cheek.

I was still clueless.

"Two tickets for you and me, silly girl."

I was shocked.

"I have a conference there for two days and then me and you could spend more time there, I mean, only if you want to." He rambled.

"You don't have to d--" I started.

"I do. Stop being modest and kiss me already." He smirked.

"You're so cheeky, it's not even attractive." I said.

He pulled me close.

"You crave for my cheekiness." He whispered.

"Nope." I said.

"Well, stop lying, dork."

"Stop calling me a dork." I said.

"Nope. You're such a dork."

"Ryan, act your age."

"Sure, love." He grinned and kissed me.

"You're irritating." I said, trying to hide my smile.

"You're beautiful."

"Stop."

"Nope."

A knock on the door brought us back to reality. I moved away from him.

"Come in." He growled.

A woman with an extremely short skirt and a tight shirt stood before us.

"Sir, these are the files you asked for." She said, leaning onto him. He stepped back.

"Wait a second. Who are you?" He asked.

"Sir, I'm in the Accounts department. My name is Janice." She said desperately.

"I've never seen you here."

She gasped. I almost cracked up.

"Sir, you asked Joe for these files."

"I asked him for these files two weeks ago, but never mind. You can leave."
He said.

"But sir, if you need any help, you could tell me." She said.

"No, thank you. I already have someone who can take care of what I need." He said and looked at me.

She huffed and walked out.

"Why were you rude to her?" I asked him.

"I wasn't! I don't even know her!" He defended himself.

"You're such an idiot."

"Your idiot, Chloe." He said and smiled cheekily.

I didn't know love felt so good.
