48 Hours Later

"Hi, Tiana I'm detective Mark Colman. I'm the new detective that will be looking into the disappearance of your husband-" some white man says walking from out of nowhere. There's people all up in my house, looking through everything to find a clue on where my husband is. It's been two whole days since he vanished from the hospital I was in. I'm supposed to be in the hospital still but I don't care.

"Tiana" Cookie says ripping me from my jumbled thoughts.

"Yea?" I ask, I've been doing that a lot. Zoning out from what's around me.

"Honey he said do you have any clues or ideas that you've recently thought of about where he is" Cookie repeats wiping her eyes.

"No ma, I don't and I know that it's horrible that I dont. I'm supposed to be his wife. The fact that I don't know what's up with him is sad and I'm sorry. Whatever happened to him probably wouldn't have if I was there with him, it's my job to protect him and I failed" I cry and everyone gets noticeably quiet. "I need a minute. Can everyone just go wait downstairs,please" I ask choking back tears. I sit on my bed as the people start to leave the detective pats my back before leaving. Cookie hugs me them leaves and I'm left with my thoughts.

I lay flat on my back and rack my brain.

Where is he?

What happened to him?

Is he okay?

Is he alive?

I sit up wiping my eyes rapidly. What if he's dead? I can't go on without him.

God help him.

I look down at my tattoo on my wrist. The matching crowns we both got. We've done so much stuff together. We've been through so much, good and bad.

Flashback (2 years ago)

"Where have you been?" I scream running up in Keems face as he walks through my house door a 2 am.

"Out, why you worried" he asks, brushing past me.

"Seriously? I'm worried because you were supposed to be home hours ago! You left empire at like 9 and nobody heard from you. I thought something happened to your big headed ass!" I scream pushing him.

"Yo, my head hurts okay just chill out. Ion wanna fight. I don't see why you care that much anyways" he rolls his eyes.

"You don't see why I care?! I care because we're dating. I care because I don't want you getting into anything stupid. I care because I love you Hakeem, okay I love you! " I scream stopping myself once I realize what I said. He was walking away but he stops dead in his tracks spinning around to face me.

"What you say?" He questions.

"I- I said I love you " I confirm my heart beating fast as hell.

"Your cute"he laughs."I love you too midget" he adds after awhile making me smile.

"Oh thank goodness you said it back in almost died" I joke.

"Of course I said it back. I've been wanting to say that to you for weeks but I thought you'd laugh at me. Guess you have more balls than me" he states hovering over me.

"I would laugh at you. But I'd say it back because you've had my heart since the moment you made that ridiculous attempt to ask me out" I joke pushing him out my way. He grabs my hand as I walk away pulling me into him. He then presses his lips against mine washing away all my doubts and worries. I pull away then smile.
