Those are the lyrics that popped in my head last night,  when I stormed away from cookies house at one in the morning. I've been trying to write more, maybe produce another album. Cookie really hurt me last night but I know I hurt her too. I saw her this morning and we got into a little screaming match over the color of Tiana's next album which is quite stupid but we were just mad. Anyways now I'm sitting in my office writing as I wait for Eva and my twins to show up. There's a lot we gotta talk about. I didn't just hide them because I don't love them. There's an important reason that I haven't told my family. Thirsty said I should just tell them instead of letting them hate me for being a 'dead beat' but I have to try and keep it secret for awhile. My cellphone starts to ring and I look down seeing it's Eva.

"Hello, we're here,where do we go?" She rushes I can hear the fans screaming around her, people love to stay outside of empire on a regular day for no reason.

"I'll come down to get yall, wait in the lobby" I say hanging up the phone. I walk out my office and to the elevator. When I arrive downstairs my kids immediately run over to me.

"Daddy!" They scream and I can't hide my joy. I haven't seen them in two weeks.

"Hi cuties " I kiss Raven on the head and then dap Noble up. "Come on guys. I'm gonna take yall shopping for tonight so you can meet your brothers" I announce grabbing their hands while we walk towards the door ignoring Eva and Jasmine. They eyes noticeable light up.

"Really daddy!  I wanted this for so long" my princess Raven screams, I smile.

"I know now come on" we get in the car and head off. As I sit there listening to my kids I can't help but want to hear cookies voice. I pull out my phone and text her phone and text my sons  one text.

Lucious👹(his name in everyone's phone): Hey, I'd like to talk to yall today. Meet me at my house in an hour before the fundraiser. Come alone, your dates can come for later .

I send that text then click to cookies name.

Lucious 👹: cooks I wanna talk to you and the boys later. Come at 2.

I send that text, slouching in my seat. I wanna know one thing, and that's of she slept Tyrese because I will kill his ass.

Later that day. .

As I lounge around Lu's living room I can't help but feel a little overjoyed about what I 'did'. He thinks I slept with Ty and quite frankly I want him to. I want to be the heartbreaker for once. All my boys are here, maybe to squash their own personal beef with their father. I'm not really dressed up either sneakers and jeans, because I mean who do I have to impress.

"You came" he states blankly walking down his stairs.

"I did" I say my arms crossed over my chest.

"So is it true?" He exhales holding onto the door frame. All my boys look confused and I want to play along just to  fuck with him a little more.

"I don't kno-" I start only to be cut off by the sound of his hand smacking against the table.

"Don't fuck with me Loretha Cookie Holloway I'm not in the mood" he adds his stare cold.
