Cookie P.O.V

My eyelids open to reveal we've stopped once again.  We left the house last night around 11 and it's almost 4 in the morning the sun is starting to slowly creep up on us. I sit up from my position in Lu's lap. We fell asleep at like 2, I swear putting us in one space for multiple hours is a recipe for disaster. I laughed so hard last night I fell off the long seat in our limo and scratched my arm. Now it's hurting like a bitch.

I see Lu stir when I slowly get up to see why we stopped. I lean down and kiss his forehead making him smile. I go to stand but he pulls me back.

"Mhm Babygirl come er cuddle with me" he mumbles not opening his eyes.

"Your such a big baby, I swear. Let me check on the driver, see why we stopped I'll be back" I giggle opening the door.

"Mr. Watts, Thirsty why we stop?" I ask stepping out the door with my slippers instead of the heels I originally had on.

"Oh, we needed to fill up the tank and get lucious coffee he's not very nice without two shots of expresso" Thirsty laughs.

"Who you tellin?" I joke turning around to get back in the van. "Oh can you get me a vanilla bean iced coffee with a shot of expresso" I add.

"Gotcha" he says. I get back in the limo, turning up the heat then laying back down in the comfort of Lu's arms.

Hour later...

We arrive at what seems to be a farm. I raise my brows, this nigga a farmer now?

"Lu wake up" I say shaking him back and forth. He pops one eye open, stretches then slowly sits up.

"Damn, I was knocked out. That was the best sleep I've gotten all week" he admits.

"Why you haven't been sleeping?" I ask.

"Nah, it's just when we weren't talking I was stressed and I didn't get much sleep. But as soon as I'm in your arms I can sleep for hours on end" he confides fixing his tie and hair in the mirror. I smile a little.

"Same, I mean I can sleep but I just always wake up in the middle of the night missing you" I add making him smile.

"Boss man, you want me to check the place of first or what?" Thirsty questions loudly through the sliding window connected to the front.

"No it's good I know this cat" Lu says looking at me for reassurance.

"Yea we good les go" I get out the van and immediately notice all the poop. I walk jumping over every pile, these custom made Loui Vuitton weren't cheap. Lu stays back a little looking around. I keep walking until I see a little office area but before I can go any further I hear my name.

"Cookie! " I look up to see Guzzy running towards me. He picks me up spinning me around a few times.

"Guzzy! " I scream.

"Cookie Lyon,  I do didn't think you'd come" he admits.

"Of course we came " Lu shutters walking from behind the limo. He's starting intently on Guzzy's hand that's rested around my waist.

"Lucious, mane I haven't seen you in almost twenty years look at you" he jokes punching Lu's arm a little.

"Same here brotha, les go in and talk" Lu says removing his arm from around my waist. I laughed at little to myself this is gonna be a long talk.

" I already told you yesterday. I'll have what you need, you just have to give me some time to work certain things out-" I'm standing back against the wall listening to the conversation between my husband and this mystery person. He's been sneaking off lately like I don't realize but I've been watching him. I know whatever he got into itmessy and I just want to help him.
