"Claudia, I need to talk to you.."

"Claudia. As much as I know you hate me right now, I need to explain myself to you."

She looks at me thoughtfully before nodding her head, signaling me to continue.

"Okay.." I take in a deep breath. "Claudia. I am so sorry for everything that I have done to you. I don't know what got into me. Maybe I was mad because you lied, maybe I was stressed. But whatever the reason may be, I was wrong for what I did. No woman in the world deserves this, but here I am asking you for one more chance. I know I've been such a garbage human being lately. Don't worry, I haven't failed to recognize that. I have issues, and you've got them too. We both need to work on bettering ourselves before we can better each other. I have never felt this way about anyone in my entire life before. You have no idea how much you truly mean to me. I'm sorry. Please forgive me." I spew. All my emotions coming out at once.

Before I know it, Claudia is reaching a weak shaky finger up to wipe the tears I hadn't noticed streaming down my face. It had been nice to finally let her know how I felt.

"Harry. You've done a lot to hurt me. I can't just hop up and forgive you at moments notice. I need some time. Okay?" Claudia rasps.

"Okay. Take as long as you need. But please know my feelings are genuine."

She simply nods before pulling her hand away. With sleep in her eyes, I gently kiss her forehead.

I sigh, getting up to leave her to rest.

Once I make it to the door, I check to make sure she's sleeping soundly before whispering,

"I love you, Claudia."
