Laura's P.O.V.: Days pass. It's now Friday. Ross is officially popular. I'm happy for him but I just kinda wish we went back to hanging out with each other. Now he doesn't really talk to me. No hi's. No hugs. No nothing!  Not even in dance class, and we're partners! Is our friendship really falling apart? Well i'm glad I have some other friends to count on. I walk to the office and tell them I don't feel well. I pretend that I have a cold and they fall for it. I just want some time far away from people. All I need is some me, myself, and I time. I look for my car keys in my purse and get them out. I unlock the door to my car and start the car. I drive off. I don't know where I really wanna go right now. I think i'll make a quick stop at Starbucks. Even though... I don't really like coffee. But i'll get a frap or something. Those are good, right? As i'm driving past stores. I see teenagers at the park skateboarding. Wait.. shouldn't they be at school? Oh what am I saying, even i'm not a school. Right when i'm about to make a right turn I see a blonde guy that looks exactly like it could be Ross' twin. Whoa there Laura! You're just halucinating. Or you just really miss Ross. When I turn right I see the guy's face clearly. Holy- no. This can't be happening. Ross ditched school with the populars. This was a mistake! His mistake actually. I made it up to him and he chose them. So I shouldn't feel bad at all! I keep driving until I see Starbucks. I park my car and take a quick look at my phone for anything important. Nope. Nothing. I guess Ross really did forget about me. I feel some tears coming on but I hold them back. I get out the car and bring a book with me. My favorite book of all time right now!

-End of Laura's P.O.V.-

Ross' P.O.V.:

"Hey guys, i'm kinda thirsty.."

"Then you need to get yourself a girlfriend dude. Why not that one chick you had a crush on?" Logan says.

"What chick?"

"That one brunette you always used to hang out with. I forgot her name already.. but she's hot."

"Oh um.. you mean Laura?"

"YEAH! That's her! I think.. If that was her name."

"First of all, I didn't mean that kind of thirsty. Second, I didn't have a crush on her.. I just- nevermind"

Logan nods.

"I'm gonna go to the Starbucks down the road. You guys want anything?"

"Nope!" everyone says.

"K.."

I walk down the street and find Starbucks. I don't know what I was gonna get but I just needed something fast because I ran too much at the park. We were playing football and I had a bunch of turns.. really all that happened basically. I walk in Starbucks and wait in line. I look around the place since I haven't been in this Starbucks for like so long. Then I see a familiar brunette with ombre hair. It looks like Laura. I doubt she'd be here anyway. She doesn't like coffee that much. I look at her for a while and then she notices me looking at her. I look away quickly trying to pull it off. Crap I think she's staring at me now. I'm gonna pretend like i'm looking for someone so she doesn't think i'm weird. I  pretend like i'm turning to look at the door and then look back at front slowly. Yup she's staring at me. The line moves down. Thank god! I was up next.

"Hello."

"Hey.. Alright, i'd like the-"

"Hi excuse me sorry, can I get another straw? This one won't work for some reason." says the girl I was staring at.

"Sure. Hold on a minute sir."

"I'm so sor-" she looks up at me.

"Laura?"

"Hi.. do I know you from somewhere?"

"Yeah! It's me, Ross? What's going on. Are you ok?"

"I'm sorry but i've never met a Ross in my life. And i'm fine. Thanks."

"Here's your straw ma'am."

"Thank you sir!" She says as she walks back to her table.

Once I finish my order. I wait for it and look at Laura. I don't know what's going on but, I don't like it at all! When I get my order I take it and sit at her table.

"Laura can I talk to you for a minute?

-End of Ross' P.O.V.-

Narrator's P.O.V.:

"Oh hi Ross. Didn't see you there." she says keeping her eyes on her book.

"You remember me now?" he asks being hopeful.

"No. I just remembered your name when I was getting my straw though.." she lies.

"Oh.." he says frowning.

"Yeah. So. Did you like.. need help or something? I'm not trying to sound rude but why are you here? I never met you in my life." she lies once again.

"Yeah. Well.. I did. But I gotta go now." he says getting up keeping his eyes on Laura while getting up and leaving.

"Ugh. I just needed an excuse to get him away from me as soon as possible. Today's not the day to be around anyone that I know." she thinks in her head while reading her book.

She gets up with her frap and book and ends up driving home.

"Hey sis! Why are you home so early?" her sister Vanessa asks.

"Oh nothing.. I just didn't feel good.. that's all." she says.

"Oh. Ok. Well if you need anything call me ok? I'm going to sleepover my friends house for a school project we have to finish!"

"Kay. You go do that sis. I'll just lay in bed."

Once Vanessa leaves the house. Laura locks the doors. It's just her. Her parents went to Italy for a couple months because they had to do a job there for a while so meanwhile it was just her and her sister, Vanessa.

-End of Narrator's P.O.V.-
