Chapter 24.

Laura's P.O.V.: 

 As I sat back into my regular sitting position, my eyes met with Ross'. Wow, i've never seen how gorgeous they look with the moon shining on them. We stare into each others eyes for a minute which seems like forever until Ross starts leaning in.

Uh-oh! Alert! Alert! Friendship to be ruined, ahead! 

I know brain, but I can't do anything about it! If only I could stop- My thoughts get interrupted by Ross' super soft, moisty lips crashing onto mine. I get shocked and do nothing but let him continue kissing my lips. He pulls away and opens his eyes. The moonlight making his eyes sparkle once again, making me adore him at the moment that I don't even remember what just happe- Wait.. he just kissed me. Oh my god. He just kissed me. HE JUST KISSED ME. MY BESTFRIEND JUST KISSED ME. WHAT IS THIS?! 

"Sorry.." He mumbles. I stay frozen. "It's ok." He gets up and tries to walk on his foot. "I.. i'm sorry." He disappears into the hallway leaving me frozen on the couch thinking about the moment. I hope everythings not awkward in the morning.. i'd hate for things to be like that. I just wanna see things normal, y'know? 

Morning. Eating Breakfast. 

"So what happened last night you guys?" Raini says. "And by you guys I mean you and you." She points to Ross and I. "Um.. well.. I stepped on a piece of glass and Doc. Ly- I mean MARANO. Yes Marano, helped me. So thank you Doc. Marano." Ross smiles at me. I try not to smile at what he literally was about to say. Wait what? Rewind. I was literally feeling happy towards that? What is happening to you Laura. You're falling apart.  "Welcome Patient #68." I reply. Raini looks at Riker, Riker looks at Rocky, Rocky looks at Ryland and Ryland looks at Ratliff and Ratliff looks at Calum and it continunes lastly to Katie to me. Ummm so do I just pass the look on to Ross? Or... I don't get this.

"What?" I say with pancake in my mouth. Everyone continues to stare at me. "Seriously what?! Oh my gosh. Stop. Don't look at my messy animal eating." I say, now picking up my glass of orange juice and drinking it. "Ross.." Raini says. He looks up from his pancake. "Yo." His mouth full of pancake also. "Did you almost call Laura Doc. Lynch? Are you two like.... g-" Raini continues. I choke on my pancake and Ross does the talking. "Nooooooo. I was thinking about Riker because.." He drifts off.

 "Eww dude. I'm not g-" Riker gets cut off by Rocky. "DUDE I'M HELLA WEAK RIGHT NOW! YOU WERE THINKING ABOUT RIKER? THATS NASTY." Rocky says as Ryland starts laughing along with Rocky. "Oh my god, you guys are messed up. I wasn't saying it like that! It's because when Laura was taking out the glass, it hurt really bad and then Riker came out and told us to stop making....    s-e-x, noises and yeah. And dude, i'm not either. Not that it's a bad thing but yeah i'm not either. I'm straight as a line. Okay? Okay. Now can I continue eating my pancakes? These are so good."  

"Like no joke! Calum and Ratliff you're good at cooking. Do it more often and i'll be paying you in candy." Rocky jokes. "Nah, I prefer doing it free. I can just ask my mom for candy and it would be work-free." We all look at Calum and laugh. "Reasons to love Calum you guys." I add. Calum looks at me and adds, "Reasons why you wish to be me, because Laura compliments me all the time." I chuckle. 

For the rest of breakfast Calum and the guys joked around while the girls giggled and also joked around. Meanwhile Ross and I looked at each other. At this one point, I looked at him and tucked my lips in. I don't know why I just... the kiss. I could still feel his remains left on my lips. He left a sweet taste. Either he had gum before he kissed me or he just naturally has sweet lips. Always gotta love a guy with sweet natural lips, right? 

I get up from the conversation without anyone noticing and leave to my bedroom. I walk into my bedroom and shut the door behind me. I look for Cupcake and start writing in her again. Man, it's been forever since i've written in her! Last time, it was the first day of school. Now it's because of something I feel like I need to share with her.
