Chapter 14.

Ross' P.O.V.:

Dancing with Elena was not the funnest thing to do. All she wants to do is make out with me. I asked her out a day after Laura gave me the advice and she accepted. I was so happy. But then when I took her to our "first date" she didn't even want to go where I was planning to take her. She wanted me to buy her clothes. I'm broke as heck now! I only got like $5. Maybe asking her out too soon was the worst thing i've done. I could've gotten to know her better and then we could've gone out but no, stupid me decided to go out with her early.

"Ugh, Ross. My feet are tired can we go inside now?" Elena says pecking my lips.

I feel like she's trying to seduce me or some shit. She keeps tracing her finger up around my shirt. I feel so uncomfortable. 

"Umm yeah." 

I take Elena inside and sit with her on one of the couches. I wonder if Laura showed up.. I get out my phone and start texting Laura.

"Babe what do you think you're doing?" Elena says snatching my phone away from me. Who does she think she is to be in MY personal life. 

"Can you give it back to me please? I was just gonna-" I suddenly get cut off by my sister, Rydel.

"Ross come here please!" she says loudly from across the room with all the music going on and talking.

"I'll be back." I get up and walk over to Rydel.

"What up?"

"Do you know where I put my gummie life savers at?" she says.

I laugh. "You need to stop eating those. Everytime you do, you go on a sugar high."

"B-but, I love them so much.. they're my babies!" She pouts.

"I don't know Rydel sorry!" 

I walk back to the couch where Elena was and sit down. One problem.. she had sent something to someone when I turned back around. 

"Hi babe." she says acting innocent.

"Um hey.. did you just send something to someone?"

She laughs. "Of course not, why would I do that?"

"Well I saw y-" I get interrupted. 

"I'm gonna go get something to drink. I'll be right back." she says as she gets up and goes outside. I look down at my phone and look at texts sent. Hmm.. there's nothing there. Maybe I hallucinated for a second?

After Elena came back we sat on the couch talking to other couples and stayed there until it was 2 am. Everyone must've fallen asleep because it was so quiet when I woke up to go to the bathroom. I walk upstairs and enter a room. I see Logan and Chelsea sleeping together. Since when did they start dating? I close the door and finally find the bathroom. Once I finish I go back downstairs and don't know what to do. I decide to go home and sleep there. I didn't like sleeping with lots of people around.

I'll just text Elena in the morning and tell her I had an emergency.. or somewhat. If she knows I went home without telling her she'll probably be questioning me so in my opinion the best thing to do to her is lie. Wait Ross what are you thinking? Lying to your own girlfriend? Nope that's not you. I'll just tell her the truth. I don't want to start off this relationship badly. I come home and figure that my family are probably inside sleeping.

Shoot! I didn't tell them when I was coming home. I get my keys out and slowly unlock the door hoping it won't wake up anyone and think i'm some type of robber. I open the door and it creeks. "Shit!" I whisper to myself. I try to quickly close the door behind me and it worked this time. I walk towards the hallway and see my two parents standing there with unpleasant looks on their faces. 

"Where were you Ross Shor Lynch?! You should've been home at 10! It's now 3 A.M. Your brothers and sister came here when I told them to which I would've expected them to come later but Ross come on now, I expect more from you! Mind, explaining yourself mister?!" my mom says half yelling waking up the whole house. My brothers, Rocky and Ryland are the only ones who take a peek through the hallway. They stand there laughing silently.

I give them a quick glare. "Ross?" my mom says. "Oh.. i'm sorry it's just that after the performance I wanted to spend some quality time with Elena... my girlfriend and-" I get interrupted. "Whoa whoa whoa, you have a girlfriend and don't tell us about this? Does your siblings know this?" My dad asks. "Um yes. Everyone knows now.." I say. "Continue." my dad says. 

"Um yeah anyway, I danced with her for a while then her feet started hurting and then we went inside and we sat down it was probably like 9 something and then we chilled and then Rydel called me and after that I went back and sat down and we somehow ended up falling asleep and when I woke up I was still on the couch with Elena laying down and it was all quiet and yeah.." I explain to them probably not making any sense.

"Ok. We'll let it slip this one time, another two times happens and your three strikes are out!" my dad says. "Honey, have you been watching baseball?" my mom asks giggly to my dad. "Yes I have! This I do when football isn't on." he says. I chuckle. I just love their marriage. I want to be like them one day. Make someone into a Lynch, form a family and live happily ever after! I sigh. "Only in fairytales.."

My parents give me a weird look. "What's only in fairytales hun?" my mom asks. "Wait you heard that?" I ask confused. "Yup you were thinking out loud son!" my dad says. "Oh my bad... i'm gonna go to bed now. Thanks again, love you guys!" I say walking to my room.

-End of Ross' P.O.V.- 

So after that it was basically already the next day but before that, when it was Laura's P.O.V., after they were done with eating at Taco Bell they just talked and Laura drove Harry home. 

Laura's P.O.V.:

I wake up and turn to my desk by my bed. I take a glance at my phone grab it to see if I had any new notifications or messages. I look at my lockscreen.

Two New Messages from: Bestfrannddd 

I open the text message and read it.

"Hey. Miss talking to you! :)" the first one says. I smile and scroll up to read the next one.

Soon, that smile turns into a frown on my face.

Why? How could he be acting like this?
