Chapter 12.

Ross' P.O.V.:

As i'm walking out to P.E. I see a huge crowd around these girls. I can't slightly recognize any of them so I try to get a closer look. I see Victoria and this other girl arguing. I hear yelling and just normal talking. I'm guessing the other girl is yelling and Victoria is normal talking. "Whatever. You're just jealous you're not a popular like us and pretty." I hear Victoria say.

 "Ha ha ha, you wish you were pretty. Actually, you're right about the pretty part though... you're pretty FAKE to be honest." The other argues back. More people start surrounding them. "OH YEAH WELL... WELL YOU'R- UGH." She then storms off to the bathroom. The popular girls follow behind her. After that I walk around the big crowd to see who the other girl was. 

No...freaking..way.. it was Laura?! No wonder I recognized that voice! I quickly speed walk next to her and ask her, "What happened?!" She turns to me and says, "World War II is what happened." I chuckle at how she's confident about herself and smart. "Oh. Yeah too bad I only saw like half of it. I came out when like it was halfway done. I wasn't very satisfied Ms. Marano." 

"Too bad." She says. "Hey so remember when I asked who your crush was?" I ask her. "Yeah, why?" she asks confusingly. "Well I wanted to give it a guess.. You can guess mine too if you want." She nods. "Go for it!" I try to remember stuff about Niall. Nevermind there's no use. I get straight to the answer. "Um ok, I think it's that one dude, Niall!" I guess. A shocked Laura just stands there.

"How... how did you guess so easily?!" She asks still in shock. "Well I saw you blushing in the hallway today with him and I was supposing you liked him." She looks up for a minute, probably trying to remember what actually happened in the hallway. "Oh yeah. I remember when he did that. Well your not wrong. It's Niall. My guesses for you is probably every girl. You flirt with like every girl you see." she says. 

"That's kinda true Marano. But nope, I actually don't have a current crush right now. I thought I did but I don't."  I reply tucking my lips in my mouth making a kinda straight face but not serious. "Oh. Well that's very interesting. You know who you would look cute with though? Out of every girl in the whole school?" Now THAT'S interesting. "Nope, who?" I ask. "Elena. She's like perfect for you." I blush because she's actually one of my crushes but i'm not so sure if she really is or not. "Everyone says that. I talked to her earlier today." 

"Oh really? What'd you say to her? I mean, if you don't mind me asking that.." She smiles. "Oh no I don't mind! Well I just walked up to her and pretended like I didn't know she was in our dance class just as an excuse to go talk to her. But in reality, we only said like 4 sentences. I was nervous at the time and didn't know what to say." I say.

"Aww, Ross! So you do have a crush? You need to make progress bud! Ask her about her life or how she's doing, what her favorite color is, you know? You'll never get to be close with her if you don't know anything about her dude! So as from here on now, you're going to try and talk to girls that you like." She tells me.

"Thanks Laura! That really helps me a lot! And by the way I don't know why I keep calling you different things. First it was bestfriend then Marano now back to Laura. It changes. Tomorrow it's probably gonna be bestfriend or something, just watch!" I say chuckling. She laughs. "That's very true Lynch. I do the exact same thing!" 

"Teachers coming! Time to go on our roll call order numbers!" Laura speaks again as we both run to our numbers which are exactly right next to each other. Then the teacher plays the music and we start doing our warmups. 

After we do warmups we have choices again and this time I go play basketball while Laura runs the track. She's so active in P.E. but then again I know she's doing it for her grade. She has the most perfect grades in school! All A+'s, no detentions, no tardy's, no absences, well except that one time me and her were both late to dance but they didn't count that so.. she's perfect in school and out of school.
