Chapter 35. Part 2. (Final Part)

Ross' P.O.V.:

After Laura's parents finish visiting her I ask if I can go in. They say yes but nurse said visitor hour is done. God damnit. I was really hoping to see her! I stand outside and look through the blinds. She lays on the hospital bed with her eyes closed and looking peacful than ever. God, she's so beautiful, I want to marry her someday! I will marry her someday. Soon. Maybe after we're done with college, maybe during college, maybe when we're older but soon, I shall marry that perfection of a girl she is. The nurse walks out of the room. 

"Hey um, nurse? When is the next visiting hours?" I ask politely.

"Hmm let me see.." She says as she checks her clipboard. "You'll have to wait until tomorow son! But you're lucky because by then she'll be awake and she will be less panicky." She smiles.

"Less panicky? W-wait she was asleep when her parents went in to see her?"

The nurse nods. "Yeah, she was going a bit crazy earlier and she broke a couple of hospital materials. Had to put the poor thing to sleep." 

I frown. "Oh. Okay, well good thing she'll be awake when I get to see her. Thanks nurse!" 

"No problem, son! By the way, are you two a couple?" She randomly asks.

I nod. "Yeah. She's beautiful isn't she?" I say smilling.

She chuckles. "Oh very! She's lucky to have such a sweet guy like you!" 

"And i'm lucky to have such an amazing girl like her!" I say.

"You two would make such a wonderful married couple!" She says.

I like how we're just talking about how amazing we both are and how great we look together. I like this nurse, she might be old but she's pretty cool to talk to.

I chuckle. "That's funny, I was thinking about proposing to her someday, just a couple of minutes ago!" 

She smiles. "I think you should go for it son! Just do it when it's the right time. I mean, right now, you guys are pretty young still and you shouldn't worry about starting a life together just yet. There's so much more to live for and you guys need to take chances and opportunities that are waiting out there for you! But anyway, here i'll give you my number so whenever you need help with your relationship or just life, i'm your fairy godmother" She chuckles as I take my phone out and start typing her number down.

"Your name is?" 

"Shannon." The nurse says.

"I'm Ross!" I say as I shake her hand. "Well, it was nice talking and meeting you! I'll definitely call you up when i'm in need of salvation. I'll see you around ma'am!" I say as I walk off into the waiting room.

Well, the good thing is that I get to visit Laura tomorrow. This just gives me some time to find out who shot the bullets. First victim on my list: Elena. I think Elena did it because the day she was giving out the invitations she gave Laura dirty looks and what not and also because i've dated her in the past. Luckily it's only 5 PM. Time to bring my acting game on.

I walk to the vending machine and grab a few snacks before walking to Elena's house. Not that far luckiy. She's lives nearby the hopsital area. Meanwhile, I open up my bag of chips and start munching on them. Oh my god. These are so good! I'm in heaven. Too bad they'll be gone in like 1 minute since the bag is small and I don't take my time to savour the flavor. I just do! 

 After throwing away the empty bag of chips and snicker wrapper away at the park right next to Elena's house, I walk up her door and knock.

First knock, no answer. Okay she's clearly there, I see her mom's car.

Second knock, still no answer. Wait i'll just ring her doorbell.

I ring the doorbell, her mom answers.

"Hello, who are you?" She asks.

I've never really met her mom because when we went out she didn't want me to meet any of her family which I find really weird.

"I'm one of Elena's friend." I lie.

She examines me. What the hell? Why is this woman sniffing me. Okay, i'm kind of glad she didn't introduce me to her family. I mean, imagine her dad.

"I see. And why are you here?" She asks.

I remain silent because i'm in my own place right now then I realize what she said.

"OH um. I was just wondering if she's home?"

"She's not home. She left before graduation day to England."

That's shocking.. I thought she would be the one who did it.

If it wasn't Elena then who else could've done it? Hmm.. who could've shot the bullets.. I take out my phone and start checking of Elena.

List of suspects:

- Elena: ex girlfriend [x] note: left before graduation

 

But then that's all of the people I thought of? Just Elena. C'mon Ross, there has to be others. I snap my fingers in the air. I GOT IT! I type down the next two suspects.

-????? hung out with Laura

-????? : hung out with Laura

There's just one problem.. how the hell am I going to find out where they live?! I'm gonna have to ask Laura tomorrow. For now, I need to go home and sleep on it. I turn directions and walk home.
