Chapter 4.

Laura's P.O.V.: It was Monday. Oh joy. Ha- NOT! I have to agree with everyone on this, Monday's are horrible. Not every Monday but you know, we're just so tired! I go downstairs into the kitchen. Eh... I think i'll just eat at school today. For the first time in my entire life!  I've never, EVER! Ate at school. It's just a habbit I have. I prefer eating at home. Homemade food you know? Not the gross food that everyone always talks about. I go upstairs and get ready. Once I get to school I go straight to the cafeteria and get in line. I type in my number and sit down. Gulp. It's time. I unwrap the biscuit sausage sandwhich with cheese and take a bite. Not bad. I finish my breakfast and then walk out to the hallway. I see a huge group of people surrounding some guy. I can't recognize him from far. I walk up to the crowd and see girls all over Ross. 

"You look hot." one girl speaks up.

"Thanks." 

"Dude, wanna join our group?" one of the populars says.

Ross just stands there and widens his eyes.

"Ross!" I yell out.

He see's me. 

"Bestfriend!" He says pushing the people out of the way and hugging me. 

I hug him back. 

"Are you two like.. dating?" a guy asks.

Me and Ross look at each other. 

"I don't blame him, she's pretty hot." 

I get a little red.

"Um no. We're just bestfriends. Why? Can't bestfriends just hug?"

"Dude, calm down, it was just a question." he says again.

"So if you're not dating her then that means one of us can totally have a chance with you."

Ross just stands there raising an eyebrow.

Then the crowd surrounds him again asking him weird questions, him answering them. I get left out eventually. I frown and just walk away.

At lunch.

I sit down with some of my new friends I made in dance and save a spot for Ross. I search around the Cafeteria to see if he's in yet. Nope. Probably got let out late. Then all of a sudden... the doors bust open. Oh.. just the populars and some guy. Wait a minute.. that guy looks familliar. As they come around I look perfectly at the guy. Holy crap, it's Ross! Wait so is he really just going to join the populars and leave me here? No.. I doubt that. He would never do that. Then he looks at me. I see him saying something to the populars and then he comes my way.

"Hey.." 

I look at him while drinking my juice. 

"Listen it's not that I don't want to hang out with you anymore, it's just that I had no other choice. So i'm part of the populars now." 

"Look, it's cool. I mean if you wanna be friends with them and hang out with them, then i'm not gonna stop your from doing that. It's your choice. Not mine."

"Ayee, yo Ross!" one of the populars says signaling him to come over to their table.

"So... you're cool with it?"

"Sure. Now go. They're waiting for you."

"Thanks Laura." 

He gives me a quick hug and sits with them.

"Can Laura Marano please come to the office. Laura Marano."

I get kinda shocked and throw my food away then walk to the office. I think Ross must've payed attention at the announcement because he turned around right when they said my name and gave me a "what did you do?" look.
