Chapter 23.

Previously on Chapter 22

 Next up was Riker. He spins the bottle and it lands on.... me. He smirks and looks over at Ross. Okay, what is up with everyone looking at me and Ross back and fourth!? Geez. "Truth or Dare?" I don't want to risk anything so i'll just say truth.. "Truth, please." I say giving him my best smile and battering my eyes. He just stares at me. Oops.. too far? He chuckles. "Um ok. Is it true that you're dating Harry?" He smirks and looks at Ross. I could see Ross glaring at him. I gulp. Um what? I mean I do like him but.. what? "Umm not quite.." I reply. He snaps his fingers from the air. I chuckle at his action. "OK THEN UM-" Raini cuts him off. "RIKER! You can't do two truth's if she doesn't say 'True' for the first one!" I sigh in relief. I didn't want him asking me questions about my relationships... which I haven't had... yet.. of course. "Thank you Rai-" Before I finish my sentence she continues hers. "You CAN dare her though." Everyone turns their head to me and smirk.

I gulp in the awkward silence. "Noooooo I think i'm good for now.." Suddenly everyone starts discussing over it for like... ever! "Fine.. i'll do the dare." Raini fist pumps in the air. "Yes!! Someone else do it though. Any volunteers?" Everyone's hand rises up. "Okay, what the heck is up with everyone wanting to dare me? Am I that awesome?" I chuckle. "No. Your just so new to sleepover games. Duh! Think Laurs!" Ross says. I glare at him. "Gee, thanks. Feeling the love!" I say sarcastically. 

"So.. who's gonna dare me? I mean it can't be all of you." They all look at each other and point to Raini. I gulp once again. This time, really loudly. Her and Ross kept giving each other looks earlier.  So like, they might be up to something. I swear, whatever they're up to, i'll find out later. I get interrupted by Raini. "Hmm ok. Laura... I dare you to.. " Raini pauses for a while. "What?! Just dare me already!" I say unpatiently. "Well damn Laura." Rocky chuckles. I chuckle nervously. "Sorry.. Raini." 

"I dare you to kiss Ross for 1 minute." She finally says. I widen my eyes and look over at Ross who is just exactly right across from me. I nervously get up from my spot and start slowly walking over to him. I sit in a mermaid position with both legs going one direction and bring my hand up to his cheek. I start leaning in slowly until.. 

Ross' P.O.V.:

After I "went to sleep" I actually meant just stare at blankness. I stared at the ceilling for a couple minutes and remembered Laura's gift. I get up quickly and walk into my room to find the present sitting where I last left it. I pick it up and sit on my bed with it on my lap. I stare at it and finally my hands start unwrapping it. 

 I feel a huge grin appear on my face. I can't believe she made me customized Converse. I love the fact that she used the quote I once told her.

FLASHBACK

"I think it's so cool you have a band! Especially that 3/4 of them are your siblings! It would be hard for me to do that... since I only have my sister and... yeah." Laura says. "That would be hard, wouldn't it?" I chuckle. Laura nods. We continue walking down the street and then we stop at a Stop sign. "Has it ever come to you that, music is poetry with personality?" Laura looks at me with her eyebrows furrowed and a smile on her face. "You know what? No I haven't. But that's so genius and true!" I smile. "Well as the person who made that up, I thank you." She gives me a surprised look. "Whoa you're serious?! You made that up? I'm quite impressed bestfriend. I never knew you could actually be so smart and clever." I chuckle. "So you thought I was dumb before I said that?" I raise an eyebrow. She laughs. "No! You were definitely smart before, I was just saying you seem more... mature?" I give her a look. "Okayyyy, maybe I should stop talking." She chuckles. I roll my eyes and we continue our walk home. 

POOF

I take the shoes out of their box and admire them for quite a while until I get a phone call from Raini. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and answer.
