Aphmau's POV:

I was sitting in class when the teacher spoke up.

"I have some exciting news. We have a student who just joined this class. You may come in." She called out the door. To my surprise, Emmalyn walked in. She scanned the classroom and her face lit up when her eyes landed on me.

'What are you doing here?' I signed to her as Emmalyn walked to her seat. She sat down right in front of me and turned to me.

'I transfered classes. I used to be in the same homeroom as Ivy and her friends. What happened with them today happens everyday before school. They call me a nerd, once they even broke my glasses. My mom finally found out and so she thought it would help if I changed a few classes. I was unsure at first but now that you're here I'm happy she did that.' Man she can move her hands REALLY fast. I thought. Then I realized she said they bullied her everyday.

'You know, if Ivy, Alex and Lily are bothering you I could take care of them.' I smirked thinking of all the stuff I could do to them to get back at them for treating Emmalyn like that. Her eyes widened.

'Oh no no no. Jess, don't do anything to them, okay?'

'Fiiineee. But they deserve it.' I rolled my eyes and pouted.

"Besides, I'm here with you. Everything's great now." She smiled. I nodded.

"The only way this could be better is if we sat next to each other." I whispered to her.

"Does that mean you're willing to trade seats?" The girl who sat next to Emmalyn faced me. "Tell you what, you let me sit next to the cutie, I'll let you sit next to your friend."

"What cutie?" I asked her.

"The one next to you."

"Um. I don't see any 'cutie', just Aaron." I told her. The girl groaned.

"I'm talking about Aaron!" She whisper-yelled.

"That's it? Deal!" I nodded and gathered my stuff. We talked a bit more before the bell rang. Now, we didn't just have a few classes together, but MOST of them. Why do I have a feeling a certain someone made that happen? Moving on, today we had a free period first thing. I was thinking what we could do when Emmalyn broke my thoughts.

"I need to tell you something." Her tone went from its usual chirpy tone to one that was serious and grim.

"What is it?" I grew worried.

"As you may know the school allows students to come in after hours to work on projects or extra credit assignments." She started walking and I followed her.

"I didn't."

"Anyway, I was working on the MAW assignment when I found something in the West Wing."

"The west wing? Funny, I don't remember there being a west wing."

"Because they abandoned it. It needed some extreme renovations and the school didn't have the money for it. They didn't have the money to demolish it either so they moved all the classes that were there into the main building. Teachers don't mention this place too much because, just look at it," She explained as we went up the stairs. There was a sign labelling the west wing. It was old and falling apart but not so much that it looked too unstable to be walking in it. Though it definitely didn't look fit to have lessons in. "Not exactly something to be proud of." Emmalyn continued.

"Definitely, but what did you want to tell me?" I still didn't understand where this was heading. She led me down a few more hallways the turned the corner to a place that actually looked clean and intact. There was an area for reading and a bookcase, then a large window on the back wall overlooking a forest. Emmalyn walked up to the bookcase
