(WALPS. SECOND CHAPTER TODAY. HOPES THIS ONE MEETS SOME STANDARDS)

I woke up to my alarm and snoozed it, falling back asleep. I would go to school tomorrow. I closed my eyes, falling back asleep.

I yawned and opened my eyes as sunlight streamed through the windows. My clock read 6:30 am. I got up, changing out of my school uniform and into another one. I walked in the bathroom, doing my best to make a, 'cried myself to sleep, depressed, doesn't want to be here', look. I grabbed my bag and headed to school, passing many other kids on the way. Most glanced at me, but one, the martial arts club leader to be exact, stood across the street and watched me walk to the gates. I saw Senpai walk in, but...the Occult Club leader was with him. She was talking to him?! I suddenly got really mad, but I walked away. Maybe after school the martial arts club will be willing to take a new member? If not then, I'll need to get stronger somehow. I know it doesn't seem like it but...Oka is actually really strong. Or so I've heard. As much as I'll hate it, it has to be done for Senpai. I finished the first class with worried glances and headed up to the roof for lunch. I stopped and stared at Senpai, Oka standing behind the wall staring at him. I growled, but changed my stare to the bench and put on a sad face as someone came up behind me. I felt a hand on my shoulder and shook my head, looking back to see martial arts master standing behind me.

"You ok?" He asked, his voice soft. I seemed to get lost in his eyes as my heart started skipping beats. What was this? Rage right? No. That felt different. Maybe I just got a little too into the acting. "Ayano?" I shook my head again, walking away.

"I'm fine." I said before I was out of his hearing range. I walked away from the bench and sadly Senpai, and sat on the railing. I hung my legs over it, waiting till the bell rang and Oka came by. No one had seen me sit up here, and no one would see this. I screamed, throwing myself over and catching the railing before I fell. Oka gasped and ran over. I screamed again as she got close, catching Senpai's and martial artist's attention. "Help!" I screeched, Senpai running over. He pushed Oka aside and pulled me up and back on the roof. I pretended to be scared as Oka stared at me in shock. Senpai was next to me, holding me as I shook. Martial artist master ran over, and knelt next to me.

"What happened?" He asked and I looked at him, tears running down my face. I pointed a shaky hand at Oka.

"S-she...one m-minute I was staring a-at the tree and th-then Oka came up b-behind me and..." I trailed off and stared down at the ground.

"What did she do?" Senpai asked, his voice soothing as Oka looked fearful for what I might say.

"Sh-she pushed me and I-I caught the railing a-and..." I trailed off, pretending to sob. Martial arts master stood up, and grabbed Oka by the arm before marching off and down the stairs, probably to the head master's office. Senpai held me as I fake cried in my hands. I sniffed and looked at him, wiping my eyes. "Th-thanks. I owe you b-big time." I whispered before I stood up and walked off the roof.

"Ayano! You don't owe me anything! I wasn't just going to let you die! You should head home! I can walk you there!" Senpai called from behind me. I stopped and nodded at him.

And that's how Oka got arrested and I got twenty minutes alone with Senpai.

I woke up to my alarm and got out of bed. I yawned and stretched as I got ready.

I left the house, walking to school. Whoever talks to Senpai today will get a lot worse then being framed. Just my luck Midori was right there next to him, talking his ear off. Martial artists practice in the mornings, right?

As I walked towards the club, I kept my hands wrapped around my stomach and my head down. There were so many rumors heading down the halls it almost made me want to go kill myself. Maybe, right before lunch I could stand on the railing where Senpai usually stands and he could save me. I walked into the club room, everyone stopping and staring at me.

"I-I'm sorry I d-didn't mean to disturb you I-I can come back later I-"

"It's ok Ayano. What can I do for ya?" The leader asked, coming up to me. Still don't know who he is.

"U-um...I-I'd like to join the club a-and see if something n-new will help take m-my mind off of things." I said quietly, keeping my gaze fixed on the ground.

"Yeah ok! All we ask is that you show up once a week!" He said, tying a headband on my head and then handing me a uniform. "Would you like to spar with us this morning?"

I gave a small smile and nodded at him.

I was knocked to the ground for the tenth time this afternoon by Mina. I fell back on the mat, panting.

"Come on Ayano! Focus on her pattern!" Budo, as I learned his name was, said. I got up, dodging  her first two moves and defending myself against the next three. I landed a hit, knocking her back. I punched her, kicking her off her feet so she fell down. Everyone else applauded as the last bell rang. I sat down and waited for everyone to finish changing before I went into the stall and changed myself. When I came out Budo was the only one left. I left the club room as he went to change. More whispering then usual filled the hallways as I walked by. Instead of walking to the gates I walked to the roof. Midori was still there as usual. I walked up behind her, tapping her shoulder. She jumped and almost screamed but I shushed her then waved her over to the railing. I pointed to the cherry tree where Sakyu Basu and Inkyu Basu were sitting on their knees. She looked closer, leaning on the railing.

"What are they-" She was cut off by me pushing her. She was too shocked too scream.

"Midori! No!" I yelled and looked over the railing at her. I ran to the nearest teacher I could find, sadness and shock on my face. "Help! I tried to stop her b-but M-Midori just jumped off the roof!"

"What? Call the police immediately!" She said, running out the door. I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

"A student just jumped off the roof at Akademi High! We need help right away!" I said as the woman responded and hung up. I ran back to the roof where the teacher was staring at Midori sadly. I looked down and sighed before walking away.

{WELLS. THATS THAT. NO HATE FOR KILLING MIDORI PLZ.
