~Emi POV~
It had been two weeks since my bet with Mia. She still hadn't given me my fifty. She said she'd make it a hundred if I gave her another week. I smirked at her as she was helped to the nurse's office with a black eye and a hand print on her right cheek. She glared and threw me a wad of cash. I walked away, mouthing 'thank you'.
I had to be in the gym in about fifty minutes to help, but first I had to make a pit-stop.
I opened the door to the roof, walking over to Ayano as she leaned on the railing. She had fully healed a week ago, and now she had some scars and a few bruises left.
"I will literally pay you to tell me what's wrong." She looked at me, rolling her eyes. "Ok, I'll buy if you go shopping with me."
"What do we need to shop for?" She stood up, staring at me.
"Duh! Clothes for the dance. You have someone to impress."
"And I'm guessing you do too." She said, leaning back on the railing.
"I have a face in mind."

We walked around the mall, each pushing a cart. I turned a corner, Ayano behind me. She pulled out a black dress, and I pulled out a red one. We headed to the changing rooms, each going into one and trying on the dresses.
I came out first, twirling around in the mirror. I noticed a couple other students staring at me. I smiled and waved, the guys shaking their heads as to snap out of their thoughts. Ayano came out, perfectly fitted in the dress. She twirled, the skirt flowing around her.
"You look great." She said, looking me up and down.
"You too."
"Well, we'll need shoes." She said, going back into the stall. We both came out, back in our uniforms. We steered towards the shoe deparment in a store more towards the back of the mall. We made basic small talk, occasionally stopping to see if a pair of shoes we liked matched our dresses. I found a dark red pair with a strap just under the toes and one above the ankle. Ayano got the same pair, only in black. We sat down, trying them on. After we made our purchases, we exited the store, heading into a jewelry store.
