Epilogue

I had fun these past years. Me and Budo had our fights, but we always solved them. We had still been friends with Emiko, Taro, Rosa, and Mel and Hanako who had grown up an awful lot. They still fought but were like sisters. Emiko, Rosa and I had all graduated and gotten jobs. I moved in with Budo. My parents had returned from America and had a meltdown; my father's happy and my mother's surprised; about the yandere situation. Life sure had been good.

As we sat at the resturant together, Budo cleared his throat. Everyone at the table turned their heads as he stood up. I felt my face redden as I waved all the people off. 

He kneeled next to me, holding my hand. I stared at him confused.

"Ayano Aishi. We have been together for seven long years, and I think it's about time I make the move." I put my free hand over my mouth as I understood, my eyes tearing up. "I love you more than anything I've ever owned or anyone I've ever met."

The resturant had gone quiet as he pulled out a box and opened it, revealing a diamond ring.

"Ayano, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

"Yes!" I launched myself off the booth at him and cried on his shoulder as the resturant applauded.

He slipped the ring on my finger and we shared a tender kiss.
