#FORBODEN

Emi POV

I sat up, rubbing my head. I was... in a forest? Did I die? Where was I? I stood up, brushing myself off.

"Emi..." A soft voice called somewhere in the trees, an eerie echo following. "Emi..."

I whipped around, finding no one.

"Emi...." I felt sharp pain as something shoved me from behind, causing me to fall into a rose bush. When did they get here? I was pulled up by my arms. When I looked behind me, I could see the Akademi High roof. I turned around, now fully surrounded by the white tiles and grey railings. "Emi...."

I heard a screech and ran to the railing, seeing no one. I was pushed again, tumbling over the railing. I couldn't scream. I watched myself fall to the floor as if I was above the ground. I felt no pain as I suddenly jolted forward. I stood up, seeing Ayano and Budo closing in.

"You think we're friends?"

"I know you're secret. You stupid mutt!"

Taro formed next to them.

"I hate you! I could ever love anyone like you!"

I dropped to the ground, sobbing as they hurled insults at me. I curled into a ball, their words becoming distant.

"Are you ok?" I looked up, and saw a face I had hoped I would never see again. "Emi, right?"

I was speechless as she stood before me. Same black hair with the pink stripe, same brilliant emerald eyes. Same taunting smile... The one she wore the day before I killed her.

"Emi...." Her face turned into pure rage as she grabbed a knife and thrust it through my chest. I felt blood run from my mouth as I collapsed on the ground. She grabbed Ryuto, kissing him as she thrust the knife through his back. He screamed, falling to the ground. He rose again, his pupils small as if he knew what would happen. This time he was Budo. She stabbed him in the back again after kissing him. Every time he rose, it was a different boy. Almost as if they were stuck in an eternal animation loop...(#FOURTHWALLBREAK RUUUUUUUUN!)

I closed my eyes, screaming and covering my ears. I felt myself shift and opened my eyes, seeing that I was against a railing with Pipi standing in front of me.

"You know the old saying, if you fall in a dream you'll wake up before you hit the ground?" I wanted so badly to fall to the ground and beg for forgiveness, but I couldn't move. "Well this is a nightmare!"

Her face tilted to the side, her eyes completely black. Her open mouth was filled with rows of sharp teeth. She stepped closer, grabbing me and picking me up with inhuman strength.

"Pipi...please don't do this...I'm sorry!" And she let go. I flew a few feet in front of her, feeling a dull circular object pierce my back. The pain was unbearable. I looked at my torso, seeing that I had been impaled by the incinerator chimney. The same thing that the smoke from her body had come out of. And the world faded to black.

(I realized I had forgotten about Pipi and Ryuto during Ayano's killing period so yeh.)

Taro POV

I watched as Ayano burst into tears as the screen next to Emiko was filled with a straight line. I felt tears run down my cheeks as the doctors ran in and closed the curtain. She had been in a coma for a month now. Ayano would talk to her any chance she got and I would secretly talk to her when no one was around. Maybe she could hear us. I sat up and stared at the curtain as the doctors shouted at each other.

"Clear!" They were trying to restart her heart. The world around me dissapeared as I thought about her. The way she had crawled over to me and grabbed my hand. The terrible condition she was in. And I woke up first. 

~Flashback~

I saw her desperately crawling to me and met her in the middle. She grabbed my hand. I held hers and watched as she passed out. I desperately crawled all the way over to her, pulling her under me and attempting to hug her. Ayano ran over, Budo behind her. They dropped down on their knees and Ayano grabbed Emiko's arm.

"N-no..." I said, my voice barely audible. She nodded and let go. Budo put his phone back in his pocket, most likely having called the police. I heard the sirens and sure enough the cops ran into the school and paramedics ran over with two stretches. I planted a kiss on her cheek before I was pulled onto a stretcher. She was put on one too, and together we were loaded into the ambulance. I grabbed her hand and only then did I pass out.

I was snapped back to reality by he sound of steady beeping. She was back. The curtain was reopened and she was there, still in a coma, but breathing. I felt my heart jump as Ayano ran over to her. Budo followed and they started talking to her. I sighed, wishing my leg wasn't broken. If only I could get to her....

~Emiko POV~

I woke back up, still impaled by the chimney. I survived? I looked up to the roof, but there was no one. I felt a ledge beneath me and looked down. I had moved down the pole. I pushed up as far as my arms would go and then pushed with my legs. I got close enough to where I could reach a small ledge and pulled myself off completely. I fell to the ground after bouncing off the incinerator. I needed to wake up. I needed to get to Taro. I threw up on the floor about three times before I looked at my chest. A huge hole was right in the center of it. I threw up again. I finally put my hand through it, just to see if it was there. I put my hand through it and yanked it out. I wiped my face with my sleeve before standing up and hobbling into the maze. Once I reached the middle a huge ball of darkness appeared. A black face came out of it, smiling at me with sharp teeth.

"Pipi?" I asked on instinct. It laughed. I raised it's sharp claws and drug them through my body slowly. I screeched and fell to the floor as it raked it's clawed through my body. I saw my world go black but the pain never stopped.

~Taro POV~

It had been almost a month now. She still hadn't woken up. She had died again. But the doctors saved her. My leg was almost fixed, another day or two and I could walk again. I could go home in a week. I think it was pretty obvious that as soon as I got released I wasn't leaving her side until she was awake. 

"Taro, you need to eat." Ayano said as she once again shoved a chocolate bar, a SubWay sandwich with a cookie, and a bag of chips toward me.

"I'm not hungry." I said dully, my gaze still on Emiko.

"Alright." She said, pushing the tray to the side and pulling the sheets off my legs.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm taking you to Emiko." She helped me into a wheel chair and left me by Emi. "Signal when you want to come back."

With that she left. I grabbed Emi's hand.

"Emiko...i'm sorry. If I would've know they would throw you off the roof I would've gotten away to catch you. I'm so, so sorry." I couldn't help it as I broke down, crying with her hand pressed against my face.

~Emiko POV~

I was surrounded by darkness. The pain hadn't gone away. I felt like someone was trying to talk to me.

"Emiko...i'm sorry. If I would've known they would throw you off the roof I would've gotten away to catch you. I'm so, so sorry."

Taro.

"Taro?! Taro where are you?! It's not your fault!" I yelled at the darkness. All I heard were his sobs. I felt tears run down my cheeks.

"I-I know you may not hear me...but it's been almonst two months since you passed out...with how much you've been going in and out...I just want to tell you. I love you, Emiko."
