The endless thoughts and cries
Of a misplaced heart
The dishevelled poems and
Deranged accounts of emotion
Where did the words go?
The cringey collection of
Namby pamby lovey dovey
Confused human soul
Overflowing on the page
Where did the words go?
The thoughts and cries
Are still endless
Heart still misplaced
Emotions still deranged
Where did the words go?
The words still
Crash and overflow
In the resounding silence of a Haunted mind
The words are going nowhere.
The question is,
Where did the "Me" go?
