Cozy Nights

Hi Hi! Wrote this a while back before I made request rules so this x Reader is getting they/them pronouns! You may see this again on another oneshot so fair warning.

Sitting on the couch in your living room, you decided to occupy yourself by watching youtube. Waiting for your boyfriend Matthew to finish filming for his youtube channel. Matt was taking longer than expected, you in a cozy and tired state, ended up falling asleep on the couch. Shortly after, Matt came downstairs to see you passed out on the couch. You were curled up into a ball, under a blanket, snoring away.

"You're so adorable." Matt whispered. He turned the TV off, picked you up bridal style and took you upstairs. Placing you on the bed you both shared and put you under the blankets. He took this opportunity to kiss you on the forehead, and cuddle with you for a while. Soon figuring out he couldn't fall asleep with you, he decided that he was going to do some editing on his laptop. Placing his head phones on one of his ears, just so he could hear how loud he might be, in order to not wake you.

About an hour later you woke up and Matt was still on his computer. He was reading something. "Hey babe, how was your nap?" He asked as he looked over to you. "Pretty good." You said yawning and stretching. "Whatcha reading?" You question looking over at his screen. "You know those Five Nights at Freddy's Book that we saw at target the other day? I found them in an online format, that way I can do the research for the FNAF video I've been working on." He answers whilst looking back at the laptop and skimming through some of the text. "You're really milking this for all its worth huh?" You asked with a slight smile. "The fans live off it. I'm almost the spokesperson for this stuff. So I might as well ya know." He rambled. "Well now that I'm awake. Might as well cuddle. What do you say?" You ask leaning your head on his shoulder. "Sounds great if you ask me. Is it okay if I still read?" He asks sweetly and you nod. "Sure, I'm probably just gonna scroll through my phone anyways. Just lemme know when you're done so we can get to finishing that one petscop video." You look up at him and smile. "Of course, should be long. I just wanna finish this chapter and write a couple notes down." He replies, kissing you on the nose afterwards. You lean back in to kiss him on the lips lovingly, laying you head back down on his shoulder. Laying his head on yours, whilst reading. After a couple minutes of silence you say, "I love you.". Hearing his lovely voice say back, "I love you too."...

As you felt your heart flutter, you knew Matt was the best boyfriend you could ask for.
