I make my way down the hallway of the President's Victorian style mansion and turn the corner to find Terry leaning against a wall with his arms crossed and his head down. His black combat outfit looks extremely out of place in the lavishly decorated halls. By the way he is breathing, I can tell that he is out cold.
Looking at him, I pause for a second. If it isn't for the fact that he is slightly drooling, the sight of him sleeping peacefully like that would be rather sexy. Quickly dismissing the thought, I cross the hallway in two steps and stop short of him by an inch. Since his tight leather makes it virtually impossible for me to give him a purple-nurple, I stick my pinkie in my mouth for a second and then jab it into his ear.
Terry wakes up with a start, a look of pure shock on his face until he came to the realization that it is just me... still standing an inch away from him.
"Well now, love, if you wanted my attention so badly all ya had to do was come a tad bit closer," he says with a coy smile. It honestly takes me a second to understand what he is implying. Then I realize that I am still standing really close to him. For curiosity's sake, I decide to test myself and Terry.
I lean in that extra inch and kiss him.
And his reaction is priceless! I have my eyes just barely open so that I can see his eyes go so wide it surprises me that they don't pop out. Even though I am fully aware that he has been flirtatious towards me for quite some time now, I always believed it to be a joke and am completely caught off guard when his eyes change from their typical vampiric white to a deep black. I immediately pull back, just as he is about to put his arms around me.
"What the hell is wrong with your eyes!?" I practically shout. Guess its pretty obvious that I haven't spent a whole lot of time around other vampires (guilty). That's to be expected since I'm the only vampire in Black Moon dorm. Terry blinks a few times as if he is being snapped back into reality and I watch as the black quickly disappears, reverting his eyes to their normal white.
"Nothing," he mutters while looking down. "Hey, what was that for? I was only kidding," he utters in an extremely soft tone. This causes me to raise my eyebrow at him. After having seemed to gain back his composure, Terry then says, "Not that I didn't like it or anything," followed by a wink.
I narrow my eyes at him. Is he serious or joking? I can never tell dammit!
"Penny for your thoughts?" Terry asks since my reply isn't immediate.
I look him straight on and say, "I just wanted to see your reaction. Plus I wanted to see if I garnered any personal reactions from the experience such as internal excitement or sexual arousal." I turn away from him and continue making my down the hallway until I come to a window. And of course, Terry follows me.
"What a charming way of wording it. Ever the romantic, my dear," Terry says with a chuckle.
"Enough with the terms of endearment," I reply.
"Okay then, what were the results of this little experiment of yours, pray tell?"
"Nothing."
"What do you mean nothing?" Terry asks in a more serious tone, eyebrows furrowing.
"I mean that I felt absolutely nothing."
Now its Terry's turn to frown. "Really? Nothing it all? I must be losing my touch. Care for another round?" Terry starts inching closer.
"No thanks." I put my hand on his face and push him back to get some space. I push the window open and turn to hop onto the windowsill. "Oh yea, I forgot to ask. Why were you waiting for me anyway?"
