*2am*
I woke up and ran straight to the bathroom and puked just about everywhere. I sat with my head practically in the toilet bowl.
I was throwing up for at least 10minutes until like woke up
"Oh my gosh babe are you okay!" He said panicked
"Nah babe I'm fine and fucking Dan-" I said before puking again
My hair was all in my face but is tucked it behind my ear. Luke came over and lifted all my hair up and wrapped a hair tie round it for me. He sat next to me and rubbed my back
"Babe. I'm going to get you water just sit here okay."
I just nodded. My stomach hurt so much. The babies were moving round so much.
Luke came back up with a glass of ice water and a hot water bottle. I had tears streaming down my face from me puking so many times, mixed with actual crying.
I went to stand up but Luke said not too.
"Sip the water until you feel a bit better then we can go back to bed" he said with his arm round my waist
*25 minutes later*
I'd stopped liking for a while now so Luke picked me up and carried me to the bed and put the sheet over me. I could sleep and all i could think about was the lump. So I don't the stupid thing of googling it. I tried not to let it affect me.
*next morning*
I was the first awake. I walked to the bathroom and felt the lump. It's the same size and in the same place. I got changed and went to the doctor. I know I shouldn't have driven but I need to get it checked.
I got to the walk in centre and there's was no one in there because it was so early.
"The doctor will see you know. First left down the corridor" the receptionist said sweetly
"Thank you" I replied
I sat down on the chair
"Hello, how can I help?" The doctor asked
"Hi, so yesterday I was on the toilet and as I stood up I felt a lump just under my bump, so I didn't think anything of if as I'm pregnant but then last night at 2am I was throwing up a lot and didn't really sleep and now we're here."
"Okay do you mind pulling down your trousered and laying on the bed so I can take a look." She said
"Yeah sure" I laid on the bed and she felt around. It was right on my right ovary.
"Okay I'm going to do some bloods and possibly do some more test. I'm just going to do a swab if you don't mind"
She took my blood and done a swab.
"Okay the results will be back for both within 5-6 hours so just go to the hospital and they will be there for you." She said shaking my hand
"Thank you" I said leaving the office.
I got outside and I had missed calls and messages from everyone wondering where I was
*at the house*
"Where've you been?" Beau asked
"Had a doctors appointment." I replied bluntly walking upstairs
"Oh okay" I hear him murmur
I got into the room and Luke was in the bathroom sorting his little ringlet curls out.
"Babe I've been worried sick! Where have you been!" He said hugging me
"I was at the doctors." I replied
"Oh okay you should have said. I would have come with you." He said
"It's fine, I'm going back later to get the re-..." I said before stopping myself
"Oh why?" He asked
"Have to see another maternity nurse. Just to check everything is ok." I said
"Okay" he said once again fiddling with his hair. As i walked out the door he clung to my waist and smashed into the back of me.
I smiled as I turned around.
*12:45*
I had 15 minutes to get back to the doctor and I didn't want Luke to come but at the same time I did.
"Luke! Let's go!" I yelled
"Go where!" He replied
"Just come with me quickly! I'll be in the car!" I said walking out the door and getting in the car
"Where are we going?" Luke said jumping in the car
"Back to the doctor, now let's go I have an appointment." I said
*at the hospital*
"Hi I'm here to get my results for the tests I done with Dr.---- this morning..." I said to the receptionist
"Name? DOB" she said
"Tia -------- DOB: --/--/----" I said to her
"Okay straight dos the corridor first door to your right" she smiled
I got into the doctors office. Luke looked so confused. The doctor wasn't here yet but I got to wait in the room because I wasn't in a maternity area.
"What results? For what?" Luke asked me concerned
"Well I got check up because of me throwing up and I... I ummm found a umm" i said contemplating
"Tia wha-" Luke said before the doctor walked in the door
"Hello I'm Dr.------, I have you're results. Is this a relative or family member?" He asked looking at Luke
"No he's my bo... Fiancé" I said correcting myself forgetting I was engaged
"Okay are you happy for him to know as well?" He asked
"Yes, why?" I said worried
"Well I have good news and bad news Miss.-----..." He said pulling out the results of a folder.
"Okay good news first bad news second." I said clinging to Luke's hand
"Okay the good news is the throwing up you experienced was just hormones and maternal changes." He said smiling sympathetically
"Okay that's good ha" i laughed sarcastically
"And the lump you found Tia. The results we've got back are that unfortunately you have ovarian cancer." He said looking at me blankly
"Ok. So what happens from here? Do I have a life expectancy. Chemotherapy?" I said getting panicked
"The babies!" I said bursting into tears
I could see Luke out the corner of my eye his head was bowed and he was weeping softly
"Miss.-----, you will start chemotherapy in a weeks time. The babies should and hopefully be fine. I'm so sorry for things like this to happen. " he said handing me a tissue
"Thanks. Do you know how long I've had it?" I asked
"I couldn't tell you Tia. I'm sorry. You can stay here until you are both okay to leave there is no rush" he said sincerely...
"Why me. Luke. I'm too young" I weep into his shoulder
