"He is that black coffee that is bitter yet makes you addicted with no calories.
I am that strawberry milkshake that is colourful and yummy yet also filled with loaded calories.
Still they are categorised together under beverage."Third PoV:
Sara and Mr Malhotra had managed to keep more distance between each other.
There was awkward silence. No one spoke anything. All they were hearing was traffic noise.
She looked over Mr Malhotra pinching his temples and his eyebrows frowning.
Clearly he was suffering from a headache.
She contemplated for the option:should she offer painkiller or should she advise rest or should she advise him to consume a hot beverage?
Suddenly she heard Mr Malhotra clearing his throat and he asked her,"Would you mind if we stopped for a drink?"
Her eyes widened. He was asking her if she would drink alcohol?
What! How could she drink with a stranger?
Mr Malhotra immediately corrected himself,"I mean,Mrs Sahn..."he stopped speaking when he noticed her glaring. He coughed and continued,"I mean Miss Oberoi.I was asking would you mind if we stopped at a cafe?"
Sara nodded and answered,"Sure."
Mr Malhotra instructed driver to drive at a nearby cafe.
No sooner had he instructed, than they reached at the cafe.Sara's hair were tied free. She was fairly surprised at Mr.Malhotra's choice. When he had mentioned a cafe, she thought he was talking about a five star cafe.
But there they stood at a local cafe.
The cafe's name was 'Parks Cafe'.The cafe's dimension seem to be big enough to be made into some restaurants or bigger cafe yet it remained small. The cafe did not specifically had a special design which made it stand out among the restaurant chains that were opened nearby. The cafe rather had dull colours. It could easily be ignored. The cafe's furniture mostly comprised of cheap plastic.
In short, the cafe did not much seem to stand out except two things, maybe Food and the the magnificent view you got of the Arabian Sea.The winds that blew were gentle and cool.It wasn't harsh yet calming effect it would have. She smiled as the wind swept her hair and it flew.Mr.Malhotra couldn't stop himself from noticing how winds gently caressed Sara's hair.
"George! Please send strawberry milkshake and black coffee for our order with Medu vada and chocolate pastry?"Mr Malhotra spoke.
Sara saw the person,Mr George who smiled at her.She smiled back.Mr George looked quite old.He had this wrinkles which made him look old but his smile was infectious.
"He is ninty five years old.His cafe is going to get sold out in few days. Not many people now come here."She heard Mr Malhotra speak.
She nodded.Soon their order was served by a young lady who seemed quite young. She didn't fail to notice that young lady seemed to bear similar appearance to George.george was the grandfather of this young lady.
Mr Malhotra took his black coffee and Medu vada while passed strawberry milkshake and pastry to Sara.
Sara watched as Mr Malhotra ate Medu vada and drank his coffee. She could smell the bitter odour of coffee yet she knew it would help him ease headache.
Sara must have been staring for a quite long time as Mr Malhotra suddenly glanced at her and said,"Is there a problem?"
Sara shaked her head and while sipping her sweet and yummy milkshake, she asked him,"I never took you for a guy rich as you to go to such cafe rather than going to Starbucks or other five star cafe."
Mr Malhotra frowned. He sipped his coffee and spoke up,"Such cafe?"
He obviously meant to ask if she thought this cafe as distasteful.
Sara cut small piece of pastry and shared the half for Mr Malhotra and shoved the other small half in her mouth.
The pastry was absolutely delicious. The cream used for the pastry was unique in its own way and the way choco chips melted in her mouth and gave the chocolaty blast made her smile.
After such a long time, such a good dessert.
Mr Malhotra had drank his coffee, eaten his Wada and even the pastry.
He sure was a fast eater.
Sara looked up and spoke to him,"I like this cafe."
And she gazed up at him expectingly. He looked up at her warm eyes before he nodded.
He stood up and forwarded his hand, and asked,"Shall we?"
She nodded and they went up to George.
