Mr Malhotra rushed as soon as he could to the site.
There were firemen and reporters everywhere.
But where was the fire?
Sara stood in midst of all and looked irritated.
She stated,"I think I am telling this 100th time there is no fire. You have been informed wrong! Can you see anywhere any Fire? No!I have had enough! Please tell your informers that next time, they should give you accurate information."
There were great murmurs before crowd dispersed.
Sara rubbed her temples and took a breath of relief.
Mr Malhotra rushed to her and asked,"Hey,you okay?"
She nodded and sighed.
But then she snapped her head towards him and asked,"Mr Malhotra, your flight?"
He shrugged.
It wasn't big deal for him to leave his first class seat to London for her,was it?
Nah.It wasn't a big deal.
He then spoke,"I saw the news in airport so..."
Sara let a small smile slip through her,"So,you left everything behind to see if all was okay?"
He nodded.
She shook her head and smiled.
She muttered,"Your girl will be lucky."
He frowned,"What?"
She again shook her head and spoke,"There was no fire.Okay, maybe a spark was there but I tamed it before it could spread."
Mr Malhotra spoke,"Then the reporters?"
Sara looked around. She grabbed his arm and rushed him inside the restaurant.
His eyes were wide at her bold action.
He scoffed. What was he thinking? The restaurant was ready and looked prim and proper. He liked the look and it gave him a serene feeling.
She let him take a seat and prepared hot cocoa and served him.
He drank it and he instantly melted at the taste.
Sara smiled and took a photo from the kitchen. She would tease him later about it.
She came from kitchen and sat.
He waited for her to explain. He had no qualms waiting.
The wind was cool and her hair was tied in a messy bun...
He scoffed internally again. What is he even doing ?
She spoke after a gap of silence,"I think it's Mr Singh. How would reporters know about small spark?"
He looked at her.
She continued speaking,"It was coincidence that I came to check in on my work.I saw that there were some wires cut and sparks were taking place.Obviously I did whatever I had learnt in my basics to put it out and it was done. Not even single harm. But,if I would have been late, all this would have burnt.Your investment would have been wasted."
He instantly spoke,"I don't care about the investment Sara."
She frowned,"Why wouldn't you?"
He instantly paled and said,"Because...uhh..I am a human?"
She smirked and said,"Is my charm working in you?"
He paled even more and said,"What Do you mean?"
She gave a sweet smile and said,"Are you feeling the warmth friendship feeling?"
He looked for awhile at her before he said,"Yeah.Yes!Oh yes!"
Obviously.What was he even thinking!
He sighed a breath of relief and thought what he felt was a change in their relationship.
From being acquaintance,they were friends.
He spoke,"Anyways what should we do?"
Sara thought,"Maybe get him arrested?"
He thought for awhile and said,"But we need proof."
Mr Malhotra took out his phone and dialled a number,"Yes this is him.I need all informations about this man,Akash Singh.Full information,in and out.Quick.A few days?Fine!"
Sara looked at him and asked,"So?"
Mr Malhotra nodded and said,"The guy will send us information in few days."
Sara nodded and tuck a strand behind her ear.
Mr Malhotra's eyes drifted to the mark near to her eye.
Suddenly her pen fell and she lowered herself to pick the pen.
Mr Malhotra's eyes went wide.
Another mark on backside of her neck.
Was she perhaps a victim...?
He kept silence. It was none of his business. Finally a prolonged silence,he spoke to Sara,"Please can you excuse me?I need to talk to my sister."
Sara nodded.
He went to stand in balcony where he could see the waves.
The waves that looked blissful. But in turmoil it could kill someone.
He needed to calm himself. He was getting distressful thoughts.
He instantly dialled the number and as soon as his sister picked up the call,he spoke,"I missed the flight."
Her sister snickered,"No shit Sherlock.Or else you wouldn't be calling me."
They heard in background,"Language!"
They winced.
He spoke anyway,"Hey,how do you recognise someone as domestic violence victim?"
He heard her sigh.
She spoke,"Its not easy to point out.You know right? It's a sensitive topic. You can't simply go and ask 'Hey are you a victim?' Are you understanding bro?"
He spoke,"Yes."
She continued,"There are chances, she may deny.Look for small hints. It may be possible that there are few visible small injuries."
She spoke for a long time before something caught his attention.
"The victims often tend to suffer from Post Traumatic Syndrome."He spoke,"Thanks Sis.I will call you later."
She stopped,"Oh wait! Can you perhaps manage to bring her here.Maybe I can persuade her to take up counselling?"
He wondered and spoke,"I am not sure. She has an opening in two days now.She won't agree.""Who will not agree?" He heard Sara's voice.
He said,"I will call you later."
He cut the call and turned towards her.
He ran a hand through his hair and said,"My sister. Her wedding is due next week. She wants me to bring a date."
Sara said,"Oh!Please tell Congrats to your sister!"
He smiled and nodded before he spoke,"I wonder where will I get a date?"
Sara thought and said,"Tinder maybe?"
Mr Malhotra shook his head and spoke,"What if she turns out to be he?"
Sara laughed and said,"Someone is afraid of internet dating?"
He nodded and asked,"Aren't you afraid of dating?"
She muttered," I think I will now hardly date or be in a relationship."
He spoke,"What?"
She shook her head and said,"Let me find you candidates till tomorrow."
His eyes went wide and said,"Are you freaking serious?What...What about your event?"
She said,"Don't worry. We will see.Just be ready by tomorrow."
And she strutted towards kitchen,whistling.
Mr Malhotra muttered,"What have I dragged myself into?"
