S A R A
"Susan, you are commendable at your work."
Susan grins as the week report has been somewhat favourable. Her strategies have helped in incurring and improving profits.
Susan speaks further,"I have a lot planned but I am trying to take measured steps. Let us wait for more response for the new marketing strategy. Anyways, here are some more interesting things we can make changes in menu along with festival theme."
I agree with her before saying,"Do you think coordinating menu and theme of restaurant will step up a hype?"
Susan thinks a bit before she says,"Let's give it a thought later?"
I nod clearly tired with the events.
It has been a stressful week.
I informed my family about death of mom's best friend Khushi and Aditya's real identity.
Even though they were happy about Aditya, they were still struggling to cope with the loss of Khushi aunty.
My mother didn't eat anything properly for two days and didn't speak except few words.
Saransh kept working instead of talking out.
He would come at night and stare at the racket Khushi aunty had given before sobbing.
It wasn't hard to ignore his sobs.
For some reasons though, from two nights, I have seen a bit improvement.
Mom is also slowly accepting it but she wanted to meet Aditya.
So I ask Susan,"Did you ask Aditya?"
Susan nodded as she spoke,"He also wants to meet her. He was wondering if Sanjana aunty would visit the memorial in London?"
I ponder at it as I say,"I think she will find solace there."
Susan nods grimly.
We sit as we hear the gentle sea waves.
Susan sighs as if she was in a deep thought and asks,"Will you ever tell your brother what had happened to you?"
I stop to look at her.
Painful flashed do come. But I guess counselling is helping me to move on.
I think a bit before I say,"I do plan on telling him soon. But I want to leave gruesome details about me left out to him. I don't know if I will want to remember them again. Hey,is it okay if I told him about you?"
Her expression turns sad as she asks,"I don't have a problem. But do you think he will judge me?"
I shake my head instantly and say,"My brother is sure a whack but he understands the situation. Yes,he is impulsive at times but believe me he has a clean heart. He won't judge you."
She nods at me.
She seems to hesitate before she says,"I don't mean to be rude or anything but your brother is really working hard. He really needs to relax or he will fall sick."
I smirk at her as I say,"I dare you to say that to my brother."
She frowns as she says,"What?Why?"
I simply say,"Just tell me later, what was his response."
She nods.
