For a good ten minutes,I stared at the guy.
He was definitely not familiar.
His arms which were stretched out for me to hug were awkwardly in same position as I assessed him.
Mr Malhotra seemed to crack his knuckles.
He finally asked,"So,You are the infamous bestie she searches for?"
I think I heard a sarcastic tone.
Wait did I tell him of bestie?
The guy grinned and spoke,"Yeah dude.Pretty tragic story you know."
Mr Malhotra gave him another mocking smirk,"That's interesting.Mind Elaborating?"
The guy's grin fell before he smiled again and spoke quickly,"Oh!Sure.We were separated when we were five.Had to go away from the city and had to live with my mom."

Something was not right.
Or maybe he is the wrong guy.
I smiled innocently and I asked,"So,how is Saransh?"
He seemed to stammer and think before saying,"Uhh..I guess you would know.He is your brother right?"
Damn it.He knew it.
Mr Malhotra seemed to take his phone and returned from a call and said,"Sara,do you mind if I stay over?Your hosts are going to be away from here till other day."
I nodded while the other guy scanned mr Malhotra and asked,"Whose this?"
Right.Who is he?
A friend?
My friend's brother?
My investor?
Before Mr Malhotra could speak,I spoke abruptly,"Oh nothing.He is my boyfriend."
Shit!
I wanted to face palm myself.

Mr Malhotra stared at me surprised before draping his arm around my shoulder and smirking,"Yeah dude.She is my girlfriend.Isn't she cute?"
What?
Anyways,I thought of a quick plan.
I pretended that I had Just an idea and said,"It's pretty good weather for a swim.What do you think Aditya?"
Mr Malhotra's eyes narrowed that I had accepted it pretty easily.
The guy smiled and spoke,a bit flirting,"Can't wait to see me shirtless?Huh?"
No.More like I can't wait to see you headless.
Well,Because Mr Malhotra's eyes seemed to release daggers and spoke,a bit too loudly,"Dude,Back off."
Aditya guy seemed to surrender before winking me.
Mr Malhotra showed off a punch gesture before The guy went away.
As the guy exited,mr Malhotra looked at me,smirking,"So,boyfriend,huh?"
I smirked back and spoke,"So cute,huh?"
He shook his head,still smiling before saying,"Let's get ready for the pool."

If I knew anything about Aditya,it was his hate for swimming.
But he seemed to hate things with a passion. He learnt swimming,he was great at it.
But he always grumbled.
I also knew he had a scar near his shoulder blade.
Now before you get a wrong idea,I knew this because he had an accident when we were three years old. And we went swimming so,you get the point.
I didn't know if it had got faded or not.
I didn't know if Aditya still hated swimming.
But my instincts said,he will remain same.
The level headed and calmness he showed at his young age was evident that he was stubborn at times.
He could go too far for his family and loved ones.
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a knock.
I opened my room's door and instantly saw Aditya guy standing shirtless.
He was okayish.
Not very buffy but not skinny.
If that makes any sense.
He grinned before he saw my dress.
I was still in my previous dress,so he asked,"Aren't you getting ready?"
I arched my imperfect brow before saying,"Don't you remember?I don't like swimming at such time."
He scrunched up his eyebrows before nodding.
I walked towards the pool where Mr Malhotra already sat,reading a book.
I internally gasped.
His body looked toned and sculpted.My eyes ran through his figure. He still wore a tank top I think though. His eyes were concentrated on some part of book as he perched up his glasses.
Suddenly,I wondered how did he get his uhh..Capri?
The Aditya guy cleared his throat and spoke,"Checking out your boyfriend?"
He had the nerve to wink again.
I glared at him and spoke,"Yes.So?"
Internally,I panicked if mr Malhotra heard me.
Mr Malhotra's head whipped to see us standing and he narrowed his eyes.
He muttered,"Distance."
Aditya guy mock surrendered and stood some distance apart.
Mr Malhotra seemed satisfied before This guy again came and stood near me.
Mr Malhotra seemed to glare while Aditya guy smirked.
To break the ice,I asked,"How is Khushi aunt?"
The guy smiled and spoke,"She is fine.She misses your mom especially."
Mr Malhotra gave a frown before saying,"Excuse me."
He went away at some distance and he suddenly had a sad look.
I wanted to comfort him. He must be remembering his mom.
I looked at Aditya guy and told,"I guess you have something on your back."
He grinned too much and said,"That must be my hair."
Did I ever mention this guy grins too much?

As far as I remembered,Aditya didn't grin much.
Atleast not like him.
Yes,but he smiled often whenever we would talk.
I grimaced before saying,"That's a cockroach ."
His face was comical before he shouted in a high pitch tone.
He started jumping  up and down.
The cockroach instead started advancing towards his shorts.
I suppressed my laughter as he ran across the pool.
He suddenly said,"Get this off?!!I have an allergy to this!!!"
Before I could drive away,Mr Malhotra seemed unamused and unfazed,took a newspaper and hit quite roughly on the guy's back.
I think that left a red mark.
And that hit seemed intentional.
The guy winced and shouted before calming and grinning again,"Thanks dude.You are my lifesaver."
What's up with this dude?
Suddenly,I got a look of his back and saw that there was no scar on his shoulder blade.
I didn't know if what I was thinking was right or not but then I took a deep breath and I asked,"How is Rahul Uncle?"
I could see Aditya guy thinking while Mr Malhotra had his jaw clenched.
My mind was drawn to Mr Malhotra's actions at the mentions of Aditya's parents.
Why was he reacting like this?
Aditya guy finally said,"Oh.He is fine like always."
My breath came ragged.
It was not possible that Aditya won't remember of that night!
I still asked,"What is he doing now?"
Aditya guy grinned,"Obviously doing his business.Making money."
At his statement I slapped him hard.
The guy and mr Malhotra both looked on stunned as my eyes were red.
I shouted,"How dare you!!how dare you cheat on me?!"
The guy winced and spoke,"Uhh...I .."
I asked in my high voice,"Tell me!Tell me what was my first song?when we became friends?!"
He stuttered before saying,"Uhh...Twinkle twinkle?"
I will kill this guy!
It was let it go song!
And does he lack common sense?I said song.Not rhyme.
I again asked,"What did me,Saransh and you decide?"
He licked his lips and said,"That we will run nicely?"
What the actual ..?
We had decided to be successful.
And I anyway sucked in PT.
I asked my final question,"What did you call me?"
He grinned at this and said,"I called you princess."
And finally,"And what did I call you?"
He again grinned and said,"Dude."
No! I always almost called him Aditya or Adi.
He called me princesa and I called him knight in shining armour in turn many times.
Even if it was freaking embarrassing.
I slapped him again and dragged him out of the house.
Mr Malhotra looked stunned while The guy was plain shocked.
He stuttered while I spoke,"Do you think I am a fool?That I won't be able to identify my bestie?"
With that I closed the door and fell down and sat crying.
