C h a p t e r - 10

"A Smile can mean a thousand things.But a Smile can also hide a thousand problems."

"No.I am not sure.Can you inform me a little bit later?Yeah thanks." Sara took a deep breath and calmed herself.
It wasn't easy juggling between office and building your  dream restaurant.
It had been a week since she had been working with Malhotra Industries.It had been tiring but exciting for her as corporate world was new to her.
Mr Malhotra spoke through the intercom,"Ms Oberoi,Meeting is at 3pm.I want you to be ready...."
Sara nodded before she remembered he couldn't She her through intercom so she spoke while munching her granola bar,"Yes Sir."
She seemed to hear his mutterings but she ignored it and continued munching her granola bar.
"Oh,so someone has a meeting" spoke Rohan in a teasing voice while winking at Sara.She rolled her eyes at his flirty nature and said,"Yeah.Some delegates meeting."
Rohan nodded and asked,"So are you ready?" Sara looked confused and asked,"Ready for what?"
Rohan started laughing and looked at confused Sara as she frowned at him.He seemed to wipe an imaginary tear and spoke,"You are joking right?"
Looking again at Sara's frowning face,he realised she wasn't joking.He sighed and said,"What time is it?"
Sara spoke with nonchalant shrug,"2:50."
"And what time did sir ask?" Asked Rohan as if asking a kid.
Sara spoke,"Yeah he asked for me at 3....oh wait!You mean it happens somewhere else?"
Rohan nodded and said,"It happens at Bandra Branch."
Sara realised it would take her 20 minutes and knowing Mr Malhotra,she had no choice but to rush.
As she took a cab and stuck in traffic,she looked at watch.
"2:55"
She paid to the cab driver,removed her heels and ran as fast as she could.
Running fast brought back some memories but she ignored it.Thankfully being an athlete she had been able to reach office and with a button like thing stuck at her feet.She had successfully reached at sharp 3 pm at the office.She wore her heels and entered the office.
And there,Mr Malhotra stood frowning at her feet,she had been wiggling a bit while walking.Of course,he noticed.
Sara gave him a proud grin and spoke,"I reached at sharp 3."
Mr Malhotra with a frown etched asked,"So?"
Sara giving him a smug look said,"You mentioned meeting?"
Mr Malhotra nodded with confusion before it dawned at him and he spoke with a smirk,"Ms Oberoi,the meeting is tomorrow.I guess you zoned out as I spoke."
Her grin fell and she was embarrassed.
He shook his head while laughing at her before saying,"Sit."
Sara giving him a grim look said,"Where?" And he shot her an unimpressed look saying,"At my head."
Sara rolled her eyes before she sat at one of the computer chair.It was damn comfortable.
He went down his knees and took Sara's leg that had seem to be a problem to her.Sara thanked god that she decided to wear jeans today or with pencil skirt,she would have been quite uncomfortable.He slowly removed her heels and seemed to examine her leg while she noticed how his jet black hair seemed to fall just near his eyes and how carefree he seemed.He had a pretty simple hairstyle with no spikes or something and they looked quite silky and soft.
She frowned at herself.Why was she looking at him like that?
She took her gaze away from him and avoiding his gaze while he examined her leg and chipped off the button like thing that had been stuck.
She looked at him as he carefully made her wear shoes,making her feel like Cinderella.He was such a gentleman...
"You are welcome.Now,go back to the main branch and complete you files."
... Or Not.
She nodded and left the place.
