Christopher's POV

Was she Amish? Who doesn't know about technology? I just hired a computer illiterate person. Great.

And for what? She's going to mess up, get my schedules mixed up, email things to the wrong people. If my company tanks because of her--

I looked over at her desk, I gave her an easy task of sending emails. She has not asked any questions yet, she's just been typing, frantically typing. Is her silence a good thing?

She looks incredibly focused. Her brows are furrowed and her gaze is heavily focused on the screen, occasionally on her keyboard and then at the scripts.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had to see if she was doing it right. I stood up and quickly made my way to her workstation. She didn't move from her position. It's like she didn't even notice me standing behind her.

I looked at the screen. I was shocked by what I saw. She types extremely fast. She could finish an entire email in probably one minute.

Then the secretary phone rang. She immediately picked it up with one had and continued typing in the other hand at a slower pace.

"Hello, Compu Tech Industries, Alex Haytham speaking. How may I help you? " She professionally said. I was stunned beyond words.

"Okay... " She continued. "Mr Kenway is extremely busy right now... don't worry I'll relay the message to him. "She then wrote a few sentences down on a page.

"Thank you very much for investing in Compu Tech. Have a pleasant day further. "She finished.

She put the phone down and pushed out her chair. She bumped into me by mistake. I was probably too stunned to walk back to my desk.

"Do you mind? "She said with a neutral expression on her face.

What's gotten into her? She's all business-y. She walked over to the fax machine. She'll probably not know how to work it.

That's right. Fail.

She then shocked me again. She got it right. She did a little victory dance to celebrate defeating the machine. Seeing her little body move caused me to smile. I immediately pulled myself together and went back to my desk.

"Mr Kenway, how do I create an ad? "She sweetly asked before placing down the note she wrote from the phone call earlier.

"Figure it out. " I coldly replied. I should've been a bit nice because she seemed a bit upset by words.

"Fine. "She softly said.

She turned away and got into the elevator. Where's she going? I was going to stop her before I was interrupted by my cell phone ringing. Damn it.

Alex's POV

If he won't help me, I'll find someone who will. I went down a floor, to look for the cute, curly haired guy.

I walked through a few rows until I finally found him. He was talking on his cell phone and I patiently waited for him finished. He didn't know I was there until he turned around.

"I'll call you back, mom. " he said, causing me to giggling.

"Hello there, beautiful lady." He said in a semi-shy manner. He seems to be nervous.

"Hi, I'm Alex Haytham." I reached out to shake his hand.

"Chandler Daytona. Lovely to meet a radiant flower such as yourself." He said. I could help but hide my face and giggle at his words. Before I got carried away with emotion, I immediately told him about why I came.

"Don't worry, I'll sort you out. I'll forward the message to Dave on the tenth floor. His in charge with ads. " he replied.

"Thank you do much! " I walked up to him and gave him a hug.

"You are different compared to other girls. " he said, giving me a peculiar look.

I immediately shut up.

"Is that... bad? " I hesitantly asked.

"Its great. " He replied with a smile, revealing the cute dimple on his left cheek.

Alex made a friend! I'm pretty sure possessive Mr Kenway wouldn't want to know about this. Thank you for reading. 😊
