Christopher's POV
Two weeks later
I hadn't heard of Alex. She left everything here- her cell phone, laptop and tablet. I looked through her phone, I saw her 'selfies.' She had such a wide smile spread across her face, such a happy girl. I even saw a picture she took of me while I was sleeping.
My father has been recovering well. In fact, he has been doing so well that he decided to take his company back from my control. Everyone seemed happy that he was in charge again.
                              Traitors.
I still have power. They should watch their steps, I still won't tolerate slacking.
Apparently, I got demoted because my father believed that I should learn how to have a heart before I can run a business successfully.
That is a bunch of bullshit.
Feelings should never get in the way of running a business. It makes no sense.
And if it appeases him, I have a heart.
If I didn't, why would Alex's departure hurt me so much?
I may have heart, but pride overruns my life. Alex left, I know I made her leave but she could've stayed.
                              I miss her.
                              I'm going insane.
I need something to take my mind off her--
                              Ding Dong!
Who has the audacity to intrude on my private time!
I angrily walked towards my front door and opened it in a huff.
                              "Christopher!"
                              Alex's POV
I don't miss Christopher at all. He's mean and I don't know what I saw in him.
                              Okay, okay.
We had great times together and I must admit, there were moments where I expected our relationship to transcend.
I'm glad I got out while I could. I wouldn't want to be with someone who yells at me- just like my step dad used to.
I feel empty, like a bottle after all it's contents had been consumed. Not only do I feel empty, I feel discarded.
After the entire ordeal, I stormed "home" and packed as fast as I could. I stayed at a shelter for women for a few days.
I planned to leave the city, but my conscious would never allow me to leave without saying goodbye to Mr Topher.
I went incognito and discreetly made my way back to the hospital. Since Ally remembered my face, she did not hesitate to let me go into Mr Topher's room.
He did not want me to leave, but I had to. After an hour of convincing, he decided to let me go. Under one condition.
                              He pays for everything.
I said no multiple times, but he did not want to hear it. I finally agreed, but under my own condition- I pay him back whenever I can.

He hesitantly agreed.
I said my final goodbyes and made my way to a quiet, little town called Cherry Blossom Springs. I did not know Chandler's whereabouts, but I vowed to return. He was a great supportive friend and I should have the decency to have a proper goodbye.
Cherry Blossom Springs was a beautiful town, it had lovely buildings filled with history. The town was colourful and had all the necessities I needed.
