I can't help but think back to the confrontation earlier, their faces still fresh in my mind. I never minded ghouls as a human, I already knew about the dangerous world I was in. Except in my case now, It's vise-versa. Being any part of a ghoul is already a death sentence and as dangerous, I just feel like being a ghoul- even if not completely- is a lot more difficult to manage. Granted I have no idea how I manage to expertly keep food down for days, and I don't know if my undying love for food as a human was a great thing or down right sad for making it that way. But from what Kaneki has been telling me lately, he seems to be struggling by tenfold.

As I unlocked my front door and took off my shoes, something in the air seemed off. I lived alone, and seeing some of my stuff moved around was unsettling. Upon my kitchen counter was a bag with a note, reading

"After this, you're on your own."

Opening the bag was containers and bags of organs, blood, and.. eyeballs.

"...HOW DID HE GET IN MY HOUSE?!" Looking around frantically, I rushed to my room to stop dead in my tracks. In the darkness was a sleeping Uta, back flat on my bed as his shirt was slightly raised up.

"w...wha..- YOU BROKE IN MY HOUSE! HOW'D YOU EVEN GET IN HERE?! WERE YOU FOLLOWING M-..!"

"Shut up. You're too loud."

He yawns lazily, "I thought I'd share some of my leftovers with you since you're too new at it. I decided to take a nap too while I was here. But after this you'll have to hunt on-...
