Tyler took Ruby to the park and onto the swings. She chased him around and down the slides laughing her head off. The amount of amusement peered through her bright blue eyes. And then all the sudden..........
"Dada" she laughed.
"What!" Tyler turned around just to see his ears weren't playing a trick on him.
"Dada dada dada" she repeated.
A tear fell from his cheek. Happiness was plastered into his psyche.
After an hour of playing Ruby was knocked out into her stroller. She and Tyler walked home in the nice breeze blowing through both of their hair.
He smiled again at the fact that she had said dad before she said mom.
He remembered this one interview when someone asked him one thing he couldn't wait for. His response was something no one would've thought of. "I can't wait to be a dad some day" not even Josh imagined that Tyler would be ready for kids.
Tyler always thought he would never be good enough, he believed he wouldn't fulfill his duties as a good dad, until now.
Jenna was already home putting groceries away when Tyler walked in.
"Why are you so happy?" She giggles at his expression.
"Ruby said dada" he burst with excitement
"Awww lucky I've been trying to get a mama out of her for three days now" she gave Ruby a kiss on the head and let her finish her nap.
