After her honeymoon, Ruby and Michael came to visit Tyler and everyone else.
"Glad you remembered me" her dad joked.
"I saw you two weeks ago, in sure you could live without me" Ruby laughed.
"I wanted to have a dad and daughter day like we used to, so let's get on that" he nudged Jenna's shoulder.
"Your dad won't stop talking about how much he missed you, please get him out of the house" Jenna whispered in ruby's ear, but everyone was meant to hear.
"Alex is graduating this year, maybe you can baby him dad" Ruby said to Tyler.
"It's obvious he's a mamas boy" he laughed.
"So me, you, and Michael?" Ruby asked holding up her husbands hand.
"Michael has had you for a full two weeks, I'm sure he won't mind leaving you for an hour or two" he fake whined.
"Go and have fun with your dad" Micheal sweetly said.
"That's are cue to leave" she said to her dad pointing to the door.
*during the car ride*
"The mall, or fro yo?" Tyler asked.
"How about the new port music hall, for old times sake" Ruby winked.
"You're first time there was when you were like five how could you remember?" Tyler's smile grew wider.
"It's you and uncle Josh's favorite place to play, how could I forget?" They both recollected all the old memories.
"But first Taco Bell" Tyler went through the drive thru and ordered for the both of them.
"That'll never get old" Ruby sipped her Baja blast.
"Taco Bell has been running for 100 years im literally the biggest fan, hense the free too card your uncle Josh and I got" Tyler said.
"Oh Yeahhh, uncle Josh will never get rid of that thing".
"True" Tyler agreed.
*at the Newport music hall*
"Sing dad!" Ruby clapped.
"Which song?" He asked walking up on the stage.
"Can you still rap heavydirtysoul?" Ruby was curious about his memory issues.
"Heck yeah!" Tyler jumped up and down.
"There's an infestation in my minds imagination" he started, then was immediately out of breath.
"Dad are you ok!" Ruby yelled from the audience.
Tyler fell to the ground before she could come up and help him.
"Dad what's wrong with you?" The worried look on her face was clear.
"It's all good just my diabetes" Tyler choked out.
"Diabetes?" Ruby was still worried and now a little shock.
"I'm fine, we should just get some fresh air" he suggested.
"Ok let's go" Ruby wouldn't let go of his arm, always checking to see if he was breathing.
"Why didn't you tell me you had diabetes?" Ruby asked.
"Because we all know they haven't found a cure yet, and i didn't want everyone to say that your mom has the satisfaction when she says I drink too much soda" he finished.
"But still, that Baja blast you basically inhaled could've messed you up" Ruby's voice was now louder.
"Don't yell Ruby calm down. It's fine. I'm fine. No ones dead." He kept walking and looked at the floor.
"It's not fine, dad we know you're getting older and your body isn't like it used to be. You can't just walk around like its all fine" Ruby explained.
"Are you saying that I should be monitored all the time? I can't be in the comfort of my own home. You're never around. Your mom is busy with work. Alex is almost done with school. I'm 73 not 109. You think I need a retirement home? Because I don't. You don't know everything Ruby. Just live your life and don't worry about me."
