Ruby was now two years old.
She had all her teeth, ate solid foods, and could say dad, mom, Josh, grammy, and papa. No one was rushing her to full sentences, or anything too complex since they were on the road most of the time, and they wanted her experience the journey.
Josh got Monday's, Mark got Tuesday's, Brad for Wednesday's, and the rest of the crew members traded her off on Thursdays. This left Friday for Tyler, Saturday for Jenna, and Sunday for the entire family.
Ruby was never left unattended, and the bunk she slept on was filled with stuffed animals and blankets galore. Tyler never let her sleep alone either, he loved to prop her up against his chest so they could listen to each other's heartbeats.
They celebrated her turning two on the road with cupcakes and all of the clique cheering her up on stage.
Tyler always thought she would be affected by the loud noises that occurred during the concert, but Jenna knew she loved having the attention.  Tyler always welcomed her on stage and watched her as she ran out and into his arms. He would always give her a kiss on the cheek then hand her to Josh to do the same. Her favorite song was always the judge because she loved when Tyler screamed uncle Josh's name.
Those two years went by ideally fast.
One moment she was toddling around, and the next she was using phrases and bigger words.
When Christmas came around, Ruby went to visit both sets of grandparents and got twice the gifts.
"Awww Ruby" Tyler's mother picked her up and rubbed her nose against the child's. Her best friend was Jay only because he always have her candy when neither of her parents were looking.
"Rubes, Ruby rubyyyyyy come here" zack tried to lure her in, but she hated his scratchy beard, she would run to Tyler instead.
When they visited Jenna's parents, Ruby made best friends with her cousin Mercy.
They would chase each other around the house and trade barbies.
Christmas was soon taken over by New Years and the family was back home to share that day with Josh and everyone else. They had a huge New Year's Eve party, Ruby fell asleep half way to the ball dropping. Josh made sure she got her New Years kiss, he kissed her soft cheek and wrapped her in another blanket. Best uncle ever.
