*two years later*
"His name is Tyler" Ruby told her dad.
Tyler senior smiled holding the newborn in his Arms.
"He's beautiful" Jenna confessed trying to get in on the grandpa grandson moment.
*that winter*
"Uncle Josh, come to my parents house" Ruby called her uncle because she was just bored and wanted someone to talk to.
"On my way" he smiled on the other end of the line.
Josh held the child in his arms and laughed at the baby playing with his fingers.
"You did a good job with this one" he tells his niece.
"How's your father?" He had worried about Tyler.
"Sick, in bed" her eyes watered as she spoke.
"He's almost 80, uncle Josh I don't want him to leave. He didn't think he would make it to 60." She was now sobbing uncontrollably
"He's my best friend I can't bear to see him like this." He confessed.
"Alex is in college and my mom is always stressed and sick herself" Ruby held the child close to her chest.
"I'm scared it'll only be us" she wiped her face with her sleeve.
