   Two years. The amount of time Kenma Kozume hasn't seen you, the amount of time that he has secretly missed you. Don't worry, you didn't die, you left to venture that world; leaving Kenma behind. 

    You always dreamed of being a (wanted profession), you got a huge opportunity to study the profession in a different country. You knew you would miss Kenma, but you needed to do this. You are Kuroos sister(or bother), thats how you knew Kenma, along with Kuroo, you guys were life long friends.

     Probably the thing Kenma missed the most was you playing with his hair. Ever since you guys were kids you would always play with his hair, him being the cat like person he was, enjoyed it every much. Kuroo would always tease you two because Kenma would almost always fall asleep  with his head in your lap, he found you playing with his hair very relaxing. 

     Kuroo was actually surprised by it, that would be one of the only times Kenma wouldn't be playing his video games. He lightly smiles as he remembers the times you would join them at volleyball practice and the team would be amazed by how motivated he was when you were there. 

     The day he dyed his hair he was a bit nervous on how you would react, he did have a little crush on you after all. But he loved how excited you actually were, you ended calling him pudding head instead of his actual name. He didn't mind though, but he would glare at anyone else who tried to call him that. 

      Kenma also remembered how you liked his hair being pulled back into a tiny ponytail so anytime you two hung out, thats what he did. He laughed a bit as he remembered one day he woke up from a nap to find his entire hair in multiple braids, lets just say that day at school his hair had amazing waves! You found it adorable while kenma just tried to hide it. 

       He also remembers how jealous he was when you went to training camp with the team, turns out you were friends with Hinata. With you two having the same cheerful personality, he feared you liked Hinata. He wanted to confess but couldnt bring himself to, he really didn't want to when he found out about the studying aboard thing. 

       If by some wild chance you liked him back, he didn't want you to feel bad for leaving. So he kept it in, secretly not wanting you to go. 

        But he would never forget the day you did leave. You went to his house to say your final goodbyes, you gave him a hug and gave him a kiss on the check. He remembered the moment you said you loved him-and not in the brotherly way. His heart stopped and he couldn't breath, you felt the same but you ran out the door before he could say anything.

        On the plane ride, you were close to crying. You were going to miss your family, friends...Kenma. You liked him for you don't know how many years. And now you can't even see him. You decided to cut off communication with him, it hurt but you didn't want to find out what his response to your confession would be. 

       You're probably wondering why Kenma is remembering all of this, well because the day you left it was his birthday and after two long and kind of lonely years, it was his birthday. He was currently in this room, enjoying some of the new video games that friends and family got him and remembering you. Weirdly his feeling for you never wavered while you were gone. No one else was like you and he found that boring. 

       He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a car door slam shut outside, it was late at night so it was unusual to hear that. He jumped when the door bell rang through the house. He got up, thinking it was most likely Kuroo.

       He opened the door and he's heart stopped beating for a second, he gasped slightly. A wave of happiness went through him as he saw a familiar smile,

   "How have you been pudding head?~"
