(Zombie AU!) Kageyama Tobio

Be Together Soon (Part Two)

Tobio grabbed your hand, running through the crowd of people. Tears streamed down your cheek but you kept it together, trusting Tobio.

"We need to get out of here, go somewhere safe." You nodded and he squeezed your hand, trying to calm you down though you knew he was panicking too. You saw blood everywhere, screams filled the crowded hallways.

"Tobio, we need weapons. We need to protect ourselves from those things." You said while seeing one of them eating your classmates. He nodded and ran outside to the equipment shed. You gave him a confused look but you understood soon. There were many base ball bats hanging on the wall, a good choice as a weapon, for now at least.

He handed you one while he grabbed another, you heard a moaning sound and turned around to find one of them looking at you. You let out a little yelp as it walked towards you, you froze as it walked towards you. Blood covered its mouth, limbs barely hanging onto its body. As it got closer you saw Tobio run in front of you and he hit it repeatedly. He hit it hard on the head, it collapsed not moving or making noise.
"Hit them on the head, I guess it's the only way to kill them." He turned towards you, "(f/n) you can NOT just stand there! You have to fight or will you die!" You could see the worry in his eyes, you closed your eyes and breathed in and out, calming yourself.
"Ok, I will fight I promise, we can go to my apartment, my dad left weapons before he died. We need to pack food and clothes too." You said in a surprisingly calm voice, Tobio only nodded and grabbed your hand once again. You two ran out the shed and into the hell that was now earth.

There were still many student running around and panicking, some got eaten others well...they were killing themselves. "I guess they don't want to live in this world, can't blame them..."

You two ran out of the front gates, some of the things approached you and Tobio, you stood together, back to back.

"You know what to do right?" You nodded and calmed yourself, gripping the bat tightly. "Just...don't die, please." He whispered. "I won't, I promise. Don't you die on me either." Your heart broke of the thought of losing him to them. He gave you a quick nod, you two split, you tried to stay calm as you swung for the head. You were surprisingly light on your feet as you killed them.

Once the surrounding ones were gone, you were panting. You looked around and saw Tobio who was also panting and you ran over to him, hugging him from behind, "Lets go."

Once you two got to your apartment you were covered in blood. "Lets take showers real quick then gather our stuff then leave." You nodded at his words, you took a shower first while he gathered up some of the supplies. Once you got out, the realization hit you of what was happening, you broke into sobs. Tobio ran into the room and held your shaking form.

"A-Are we going to die?" You asked in between sobs, "No. I said I would take care of you and thats what I'm going to do." You put your head into his chest, you calmed down but still felt sad, empty.

"You take your shower, I'll get my stuff and the weapons." He nodded as you left, you saw that he backed food and water, enough to last a couple weeks. You grabbed a duffle bag and packed some clothes and weapons for you and him. 'His' clothes were your dads old clothes, it would be a little baggy on him but it didn't really matter now.

You got dressed in skinny yet comfortable jeans, a black long sleeve t-shirt and combat boots. You found the weapons that your dad left you, he had a collection of guns and army knives so there was plenty. You packed two handguns, two rifles and two pocket knives. Luckily, your dad had left plenty of ammo, over three hundred rounds.

The bag was too heavy to run with so you took out one rifle and it was more size suitable. Once you finished Tobio was out of the shower and put on jeans, a long sleeve shirt and sneakers. You decided that you two should use the bats as much as you could so you wouldn't run out of ammo. You handed him his as he grabbed to back pack with food and water and you grabbed the duffle bag. You two stood at the door, preparing yourselves.

"Ok, time for our new life to begin..."
