(After Life AU!!) Kageyama Tobio

Glad I Chose You

"Congratulations (f/n)!!" Your best friend tackled you in hug but was careful not to ruin your dress.

"Thank you (best friends name)!"

"No problem! I'm so happy at Kageyama finally maned up and asked you!" You chuckled at her comment while at the same thinking the same thing. What exactly did he man up to? Well, asking to marry you!

Thats right, you are now (f/n) Kageyama. You felt so happy that your life was finally coming together. After having a terrible relationship with (ex's name), Kageyama was there to help and you both fell in love.

Speaking of (ex's name), he was sadly here. Not because you wanted him to be but because he happened to start dating a friend of yours so if your friend came to your wedding, he came too.

While you and (best friend) were talking, Kageyama watched across the room while talking with his friends. He couldn't take his eyes off you, you looked stunning. "She's finally mine..." He thought; relived that you actually wanted to marry him of all people.

As his friends were talking with him, he couldn't help but notice (ex's name) glaring at him. He hated that he came. Once he saw his face he we wanted to literally throw him out the doors.

He kept his cool so he didn't ruin your day, he knew you wanted today to be perfect. After a while with his friends, he went to get a drink. As he was walking, he passed (ex's name). He was talking to one of his friends and didn't notice Kageyama.

"Dude, I can't believe she married that lame ass."

"Yeah she should have stayed with you."

"I'm way better then that twat, I would have probably give her a better life then him."

As they went on, Kageyama couldn't help but feel frustrated. "What is I can't provide her a good life?"

Kageyama being well...Kageyama. He started doubting himself and getting a low self esteem. You knew something was wrong the minute he walked up to you.

"Hey Tobio, is something wrong?" You cupped his face with one hand, he shook his head, trying to brush off the question.

"I know somethings off Tobio, don't lie to me I'm your wife." You said sternly, Tobio sighed.

"I heard (ex's name) talking, saying he could probably provide a better life for you. What if he's right?" You felt a little sad that Tobio doubted your love but you knew he just didn't have the biggest self esteem.

"Tobio, I love you and you alone. Even if we don't have the best house or a lot of money. Heck, we could be penniless and living in the streets and I still would love you." Shock filled his eyes, hearing your words. He felt love and confidence fill his heart as he returned back to normal.

"I will always be glad I chose you Tobio~"
