Just A Nerd?

Chapter 5

This week past by in a flash. Everyday was normal besides the fact that Adam and Jace would have lunch with me. Jace insisted that he had to invite someone to our 'sleep over.' He said that he didn't want to be a fifth wheel, which I didn't understand because me and Adam weren't together. Out of everyone Jace could have chosen to bring, he decided to bring Brooklyn. The one girl that probably doesn't even want to be in my presence. She and Adam have a past. So I wonder how today is going to end up. Currently, I'm getting dressed because everyone will be here any minute. They all decided to come at six because they wanted to have a full day together.

Which I honestly don't understand because, I don't even want them over here today.

I'm wearing my causal attire. A baggy hoodie, some jeans, a pair of Nike slippers with my hair in a high ponytail. I twirl in the mirror, happy with what I've done with myself. My sister is currently down stairs with Chase and they have their music blasting. I'm sure the whole neighborhood can hear it. I make my way down stairs to see Jace and Brooklyn walking in. She doesn't look too happy, she has that annoyed face she always makes when she doesn't get what she wants.

Nina turns down the music. "Who is bringing the drinks?" She asked with her hand on her hip. 

The drinks? Who said anything about drinking?

"Adam is picking it up right now." Jace answers as he plops down on the couch with Brooklyn in his arms.

"So El, you up for drinking?" Jace tested, he gave me 'you have to' look.

"Elena was never up for drinking, she's a goody." Brooklyn teases with her she-devil smirk plastered across her face. That girl really irks my nerves, she always has something to say. "Actually I am going to drink." I corrected her, giving Brooklyn a fake smile. 

Why would I say that?

"See my sister isn't that much of a buzz kill." Nina laughed as she throws her arm over my shoulder. I look up at her and gave her a small smile, as Brooklyn gives me a glare.

"So what do you guys want to do?" Chase asks as he grabs Nina by the waist and pulls her towards him.

We all give him a blank look, especially me because I've never done this before. "Elena what do you want to do?" Of course he had to come to me knowing I don't know what to do.

"I guess we can wait for Adam to come then drink." I suggest.

"Awww little El want to wait for her new boyfriend so she can have fun." Jace teases with a baby voice.

"That's n-"

"That's not her boyfriend!" Brooklyn cuts me off with an icy glare and an attitude in her voice. We both stare at each other for a while before my front door is open revealing Adam.

"I got the drinks, now let's get this bitch started!" He yelled in his husky voice. He looked so good too, he was wearing a black t-shirt that clung onto his perfectly ripped muscles, a pair of grey sweat pants and a dufflebag in his hand. Snap out of it you perv, don't get all clingy.

I smile as he walks past me with a wink. Brooklyn quickly gets off the couch and follows him into the kitchen. I could hear her whisper something to him, but I couldn't make it out because they were so far.

"So what do you want to start with beer or henny?" He ask holding but the bottles.

Everyone one yells 'henny' in unison besides me. I have never had a sip of alcohol in my life besides the sip of wine me and Brooklyn snuck from my mom when we were younger. Everyone grabs their drinks and makes theit way back to the living room where I have been siting. Nina goes to the aux cord and starts blasting music.
