"That's all you need to know for today." Linda smiles at me before handing me a name tag that now says 'Manager' on it.

"Thanks." I smile. I felt so proud of myself for this, this is the first thing that I ever accomplished without my parents help.

If I keep this up, I might be able to have my own place before school is over. That would make me super happy, to finally get something all by myself.

I walk out of the cafes front door, putting my name tag in my by bag grinning like a maniac.

I continue to walk in the dark night, not caring that I have been on my feet all day. I was taking in the frag air and staring up at the moonlight as I walk home.

I only dated Nathan for a short amount of time and it feels like a huge weight off of my shoulder now that I have broken up with him. Now I don't have to worry about him and Liz doing anything.

Speaking of her, I'm not really in the mood to see her. I'm scared that if I do see her and she has a smart remark about yesterday, she won't be able to see sunlight ever again.

So I'm just going to enjoy this freedom while I'm outside and take everything in.

I take a deep breath in, sucking in the wonderful air before I stop in front of my house.

In front of me is the house that I saw two boys that I thought cared about me kissed two girls that I hate. But I'm going to let that out of my memory and act like it never happened.

I walk up on my front stoop pulling out my keys and opening the door.

The house was completely silent and empty. Just how I remember before I got into this stupid mess that's was mostly because of boys.

I drop my bag on the phone and take off my jacket, before making my way into my kitchen to get some left over pizza. I pop it into the microwave and sit down on my phone until the pizza is finished.

Scrolling down Facebook and seeing a bunch of Facebook-whores, half naked with a face full of makeup and there butts poking out on my screen.

A get a call from my mom causes me to jump at the sudden noise from my phone.

"Hello." I say breathing hard with my hand on my chest.

"Hey sweetie, what are you up to?" She asks in a cheery voice.

"Warming up some food, what's up?" I say and as if on cue the microwave beeps indicating that my pizza was done.

"Oh I was just letting you know that I'm coming back home tomorrow." She says causing me to smile.

"Oh ok." I respond setting my phone in between my ear and shoulder as I grab my hot plate of pizza from the microwave.

"Well I guess I will see you tomorrow after you get home from school."

"Ok, love you."

"Love you too sweetie, have a good night."

"You too mom, bye." I say before hanging up and walking to my room.

As I pass I see Nina's room door open and empty, so that means that I home alone unless Liz is here which I honestly don't care if she is.

I walk into my room and plug up my phone to the charger before pulling out my laptop and plopping down on my bed with my pizza.

I turn on TVD to catch up, since I've been missing out on it lately.

So for the rest of the night I stayed up until 12am watching TVD, eating snacks and drooling over Ian.
